I strongly recommend you see about getting on an inhaled steroid. It is prescription, so you need a doctor for that.

Inhaled steroid is to reduce underlying inflammation in your lungs so you get long term control of symptoms, so you have less symptoms (or none) overall.

The pro ventolin inhaler is just for you to relieve symptoms acutely, it is not meant to be used every day.

See, the problem with asthma is inflammation of your lungs. Ventolin doesn't do anything with the inflammation. Inhaled steroid reduces inflammation.

Good luck.

Goodmorning doc
really u have not giving me a clear answer on the issues i brought to u,initially i ask u antibiotics and herbs which is the fastest sure way of treating staph infection.u replied me that its ANTIBIOTICS.and on my second post i pleaded with u to list for me the drugs that can fight the staph with easy,u replied again that antibiotics is not advisable to fight staph unless its skin infection which u recommended some antibiotic soaps.
now read my story well,a good friend of mine went for a blood culture,the result indicates HEAVY GROWTH OF STAPH FOUND.then he decided to fight the infection with herbs,for 7months now the bacteria is still there,also he has done many blood culture again but the result will show scanty yet the symptoms are still there.please sir which way do u think he will fight this bacteria.they symptoms he always have are as follows;
(1)hotness of the inner body and
(2)feverish condition(i.e the taste of his tongue will change,no cold,no headache) almost ones or twice everyweek.
thats all.no other symptom.

Severe ear pain, difficulty hearing and slight discharge. That does not sound good. See an ENT if you can afford it. Or got to your local doctor so they can have a look into your ear. Don't wanna mess with your ear drum or risk permanent hearing loss.

Hello doctor
You may remember I ask about a result of my test HbSAg = reactive which you requested me to do more test in my previous post.
I check my record, this are the results in November 2013:
Blood chemistry
HCO3-25.1
Na+ - 141.7
K+ - 3.7
Cl - 107.6
Ca2+ -2.88
Bld Urea - 3.0
creatinine - 92

LTF
AST(GOT) - nil
ALT(GPT ) - nil
ALK-Phos - 109
T-Bilirubin - 6.1
C-Bilirubin - 2.4
U-Bilirubin - nil
T-Proteins - 7.4
Albumin - 4.3
Glob - 4.0
AST - 8.0 10/L
ALT - 10 10/L

Doctor, now I'm on medication - amlodipine 10mlg daily because my bp was high but this week result shows it's reduced to 125/85.
My Doctor advices I should continue the dosage.
My question is that
1) advise me on above results of test.
2) is there any side effect of that drug on my liver or my body generally?
I'm waiting to hear from you.
Best regard.

Good day docs. in the house, pls, what may be the cause of my itching throat? It comes once in a while nd goes
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 8:14pm On Jul 03, 2015
These records are rather old if really done in 2013. Need to update to accurately read into it. But, it seems there are a number of lab abnormalities that is rather hard to decipher. Reactive hep B antigen means you are exposed to it.

The blood pressure drug in question can have adverse effect on the body but usually cautious if you have severe liver damage.

Good luck.

Dear Dr.
I need your advice concerning high blood pressure and diabetes. Recently, I bought a device to monitor my HBP & my blood sugar levels. This has been carried out over some times now. My blood sugar level as at today, 76mg/dL what is a normal sugar level?
As regards HBP, my reading was 153/98, I'm already on medication to lower it but still showing to be high (amlodipine 10mg) once daily for the past 1 month. What can I do to lower it? Kindly let me know your phone no to PM you since mentioning some medications on the forum may be illegal. Any combination of drugs for HBP? Th anks.

Anywhere from 500 to 3,000 USD. Now, if you have insurance coverage, that will be much cheaper with co-pay.

Good luck.

Hi.

Re blood glucose: the normal is above 60mg/dl. Diabetes is considered: level equal or above 126mg/dl fasting and/or above 200mg/dl non-fasting state or after oral glucose tolerance test and/or HbAIC above 6.5 and/or signs of diabetes (drinking too much, eating too much, urinating too much, blurred vision, numbness).

Re blood pressure: It is on the high side. What was your blood pressure before you started taking the medication? If it's going down, then continue to take it. If not, you may either: take it for another month and recheck it, consider switching to another medication, and watch your diet. Eat low salt diet, low fat diet and exercise. Try those first, then keep checking BP at least once a day, preferably when you are at your most relaxed state.

You can send Private message to me if you'd like.

Regards.

There is no harm in that. Just do it safely, and slowly.

Any fever/chills? Sexually active? Does it hurt to urinate? Do you have any other symptoms?

It sounds like urinary tract infection or urinary stones. Can get urine analysis to check for infection.

In the mean time, drink lots of water; in case of kidney stone, it'll pass.

Best.

Dear Dr,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
As regards my BP, this has been within the range of 174/105(highest ever experienced) 17th June 2015, down to the 143/83(lowest ever experienced) as @ 22nd June,2015 but it has ever since going up and down within the above range till date. So I'm considering another medication or any combination of it if needed. How do I send you a private message? Thanks.
