Evening, yes it can fit - you would, however, need to introduce a stair for your proposed pent floor.... We can help with that...

I'll send you a mail

That's why I said the workmanship is class - I wont have done better under same circumstances.......

180k from foundation to lintel is a good deal - how where you able to achieve that?

Thanks Boss.

I had agreed this fee with the head labour before we commenced at all. I have paid 80k to this level and 100k is the balance to take the above foundation block setting.

Estimated Materials:

Granite = 30 tonnes

Sharp Sand = '2 double tippers'

Floor Thickness Used = 100mm (4 inches)

Approx Cement = 75 - 90 bags (75 from experience, while 90 from calculations)

Labour = 65k - 70k (depending on the cost of renting concrete mixer) - I'll advice you use a concrete mixer cos its a BIG floor you doing

1 by 12 wood = 11 pcs BUT sliced into 2 to give 22 pcs (i.e buy 11 pcs of 300 by 3600 {1by12} Somi, slice it into 150 by 3600 {0.5by12} each)
you would need about 3 pcs of 2by4 for the bracing and 3 inches nail of about 1k worth, plus binding wire of about 2k worth.

Carpenter Workmanship = Daily pay (about 3.5k - 5k)

Budget some cash for the people who would do the 'RAMMER', i.e wetting and compacting of the filling.

Water = smiley smiley smiley

I don try....

Goodluck

Please this quote is for which measurement ? I mean what is the diameter of the propose DPC ? Thank you

Morning; Ok to your request but can you please put the measurement in a regular UNIT? eg Meter, feet etc

don't combine 2 UNITS (meter and inches) as you did above.

The quote was for about 20m3 of concrete ie 20 cubic meter of concrete OR 135m2 of German Floor (using 150mm thick concrete).

I hope you understand....

This can only be a church, public building or a big hall shocked shocked shocked

You would need 160 - 170 bags of cement; about 40 tonnes of sand and about 60 tonnes of granite.

Morn Boss;
Here is your material schedule up-to german floor level (OR the concrete beam over blockwork as you requested)

MATERIALS:

Cement in Ground Beam ie Fondation Footing = 35 bags (using 150mm as thickness) OR 45 bags (using 200mm as thickness)
Cement for Block Setting = 16 bags
Cement for Concrete on blocks at DPC level = 12 bags (using thickness as 100mm ie 4inches) OR 55 bags for German Floor)

Block in Foundation = 990 nos (using 4 courses as the basis)

8mm Rebar in Starter Column = 2 nos OR purchase 3 dozens of ready-made 9'' rings
12mm Rebar in Starter Column = 8 nos (using 12 columns for calculation - ie just the pent floor area)
16mm Rebar in Starter Column = 16 nos (that's the exact nos needed buy 1 more incase of waste)

Granite = I always advice 30 tonnes BUT 15 tonnes would be enough for the Foundation works (without a full german floor)

Sharp Sand = 40 tonnes OR 2 nos of 10 tyre Tipper

Add N20,000:00k for setting out (if done the right way with profiles, pegs etc)

Budget 5 Tanks of Water @ N2,500 each for the project if there no free water source around

WORKMANSHIP:

Negotiate and ask for advice later.

Goodluck

NOTE: We design and build also
