OP I am in such situation too. 99.99999% of people in my estate have never seen me with a Girl before and am above 25yrs old. a graduate for that matter. the few relationships I had were in school. it's not easy but you really shouldn't give a fvck.


the only time I feel bad is when I feel like talking to a girl and I remember am single it hurts really but I just forget it. getting a better job(though I have one whose pay is OK but I don't like it) and a roof over my head is top in priority for me now.


ask yourself, do you really need a girlfriend now or you just want to have one just because of what people say?

seriously , it's nice being single that's all I thought aloud during my last relationships , I felt like relationship is bondage if one is with someone one quarrels with most times but singleness too is boring ...however, I don't think I'm ready also to settle down in any serious relationship with anyone but seriously boredom can kill either cause I discovered that most of my female friends out there are hooked up and would only keep ones company most times when they just need one and discard one at the other time ! can you feed yourself now? do you have your own roof now? except you are a small boy or you have lots of cash to throw around then bear it for now. I have a girl who wished I dated her and even me am tempted to but I just can't cope with the stress for now.

coping with my "annoying" father. annoying boss, expecting a better job for a while now. trying to get a roof and so many other problems. adding a girl can damage me more. you never can tell what these girls can be once you start dating.

drama and cheating sh\ts coupled with all these stress can make me mad. I have to stay alone and bear the consequences of loneliness.

except you can tolerate. not every on can I can't. so get your priorities right bro. there are more important things in life than that.

yeah, the fact is just there are many things in human life that is just 'should' ..
It's easier to preach than to practice ! I have a guy that is 'mouthed'..as in I had high regard concerning this guy on the basis of relationship that his heart is unbreakable and behold, not until someone he later claimed to fall in love with left him , that's when I got to know most guys are just egoistic

lol ...dear, let's me share my own little experience concerning relationship ... This is how it works ,you shouldn't even go into relationship because of those things you listed they are wrong mindset ... I did such in the past and I discovered that those things are limited ! You're bored so you want someone ? Yes,she will keep your company for sometime but as time goes on you'll get so used to her that she will soon begins to be boring you too !!work on your personal development first, assetiveness and et al and you will find a relationship that works afterall when those things you listed has solutions provided by the person you're in relationship with become decreasing day by day ....

well bro, I think you're operating on the principle of opportunity cost however , most of these 'reasons' you listed are actually part of life because at one time in one life one is gonna have a boss of different types, a father , be a boss oneself managing people and be a father and a husband one day managing children and family including the extended ones! Life will always happen but nonetheless ,just saying all these by the way

Those my happy single guys who na try bt for me i no do single again. U go to d mall alone, u go to fast food joint alone, u go to d club alone ,U go to market alone, come prepare ur own meal alone eat ur meal alone go to bed alone wake up alone go to work come back to home meet nobody u continue like this for 30 days 365 days for many years haba una try i no fit..

What you should be bothering yourself with, right now, is how to be the best version of yourself. Allowing irrelevant things to dominate your mind is where you got it wrong. So, get your head up and put that mind of yours to better use. Women will come when they'll come, and if they don't?

This is one reason i opened this thread just to get people opinions nd with what i ve read so far it has change my Mindset nd i m really encourage to focus on other vital aspect of my life than to make woman my most priority..
