'i told you that guy's a first call jerk but your refused to listen' Florence said with an i-told-you so look.
She had been at home all day, bored and smoking her lungs out when her friend had barged into the house.
She was surprised and was like 'Mia, when did you come back from Abuja?'

Then Mia had gone on to narrate everything that happened. Even showing her an envelope that contained two hundred thousand naira. She never wanted to collect the money in the first place. But she reasoned that he couldnt just screw her for free. So when she had begged, shouted and even insulted him, she had picked up the remaining dignity she had and stormed out of his room.

She locked herself up in hers, fully covered in regret and anger. She had even cried herself to sleep.

She had woken up and noticed a flight ticket just before her door and she knew Dike had slipped it in when she had been asleep. He must have left already.

'dont tell me that Florence! Because you didnt tell me anything! Gosh! I need a cigarette. That guy's such a fool. After all the hard and deep thrusts, this is how he repays me? By sacking me and throwing an envelope at me like i'm some cheap fuckslut?!' She caught the packet of Dorchester and lighter her friend tossed to her.

Dike stared at her in bewilderment. He opened his mouth to say something but thought against it. He picked the suitcase up not ready to banter words with Chinny who was nothing but a pathetic troublemaker.

As he slowly climed the stairs, Adanna also climbed down 'Dike you're welcome' She tried to put on a smile.

He completely ignored her.

'lemme help you with your suitcase' She reached for it but he snatched it from her shooting her an angry glance.

He entered his room and sighed tiredly. He took off his suit and tie, then shoes. He ran a hand through his hair. He needed a cool shower. And good food as well.

As he stood up from his bed to move to his wardrobe, his eye caught a movement from the window.

His window faced the back of the house, exactly where the swimming pool was situated.

He peered closer and what he saw stiffened him.

Those supple busts. Those rounded hips. He continued staring as Shiv took a dip in the pool. Then she came out looking like a goddess coming out of the river.

Her jet black hair relaxed backwards. Water dripping from her face falling on her partly exposed busts. She had on a light blue bikini and Dike thought it perfectly fitted her skin color. He could only see from waist up and he suddenly wished he could see from her waist down.

Inspite of what had happened earlier with his former secretary, he felt himself growing hard again with desire.

He continued staring.

He quickly turned to see Dora standing behind him. He swallowed.
