Besides, u also made a blunder by saying that there is no provision for a recall in the constitution but I wouldn't insult u by telling u to educate urself, I would simply correct u. Section 69 of the constitution gave provision for recall of a national assembly member.

Recall is almost impossible in naija. They will need 2/3rd of registered voters to do that. They can't muster that number.

Please, not 2/3rd, it's a simple majority according to section 69 of the constitution.

Kogi people haven't received salaries for 15 months. Yet they collect #500 or #1000 to recall a senator who is fighting for them to be paid. I don't get it. Something is very wrong here.

It clearly seems that Dino is overwhelmed and infatuated with the kind of money he is seeing in the upper chamber hence the reason his exuberance shot to deadly levels . He lost it long ago.

Getting the % is not the issue here.
Get can get that with the support of the state government .
The issue is that they have to take the signatures to the Senate to notify it that they have lost confidence in Dino .While the Senate will subsequently forward it to inec .
This Senate will just be dribbling them till they're exhausted .
Till happened when Senator Mantu's constituents got the signature to recall him . When they got to the then Senate , the Senate President just kept avoiding them till those people got tired

Its good thing they start. Even if they don't achieve their goal, a precedent will be set such that every senator will know that they can be recalled by their electorate. Often times our problem is "starting"

We cannot finish everything in this life. Corruption will always be there...but we still have to start fighting it anyway. If we don't win now, generations to come will know where we stopped in the fight.
