Dishtech is already using the same type of batteries in series and charging with solar using PWM CC. The PWM CC has user programmable parameters.
Kindly give me a phone number I can call you on/send WhatsApp messages to.

He mentioned having Lithium Polymer batteries. I think that calls for more stringent charging conditions which that SCC may not provide, except if the charging parameters are user customisable.

I think he should avail the forum the voltage of his lithium battery, if it has in built BMS and also if his SCC is customisable.

His batteries are lithium phosphate battery and has BMS in them rated 11-14.6volt
His charging is designed for external using SCC program for over voltage cutoff of 14.6v

I think some one in the forum posted where to buy it, and the cost is #28,000 For the 40AH.

That sucks. Was hoping for a sweet deal like microgiant's. Sadly, I was offered the same for 8k each a while back; I disregarded it on account of thinking the batteries were wash. The ones I bought are still alive till this day.

Oh, I will really love to know how he went about that.

But for the charging, there is this user customisable boost solar charger that I saw a you tube poster hooked up to his Li-ion pack. I think it costs 11k or thereabout online. The good thing about the charger, I think, is that you can hook on a 12v solar panel and it will conveniently boost the out put to charge a 24v, 36v or 48v pack depending on your settings on the charger. I've no experience with it yet but i may just acquire it for future sake. Check the link below:

Hello house. Pls what is the best settings for the following on my 12v 780ah max pwm cc: pv off(v), load on(v), load off(v), load on(h).
Also what is the meaning of this number on a battery, if it is date of manufacture, how is it interpreted: 180830. 30 August, 2018? It definitely can't be 18 August, 1930!! Thanks.

Incidentally, I have done a little wire reconnection and is now a bit neater and have added battery/voltage reader. Small battery reads 13.2v and big battery 12.9v with both at 100% charge. I have also ordered the 60a powermr mppt cc which hopefully should arrive before this month end.

Left to right: pwm cc, changeover(100ah/200ah), 240v 60a ac circuit breaker, 600v/100a changeover(phcn/gen), 15a socket(inverter in)

Under: 600v/60a changeover (gen,phcn/inverter)
On table: 100ah leoch battery, 200ah mercury battery, 900va ecovolt luminous inverter.

Batteries are wired to manually switch for solar charging. It is presently on 200ah battery

Pls advice on this inverter.
1. How good is it?
2. Will it carry my fridge for about 4 hrs ?
3. I have 4 *150w panels presently, how many more 150 w panels do I buy?
4. The best configuration to connect the panels(all at joined in parallel presently)
Thanks

How many batteries do you plan to use and what is the capacity of the batteries?

Because its 24v, I am getting two 200ah batteries for a start and upgrade to 4 by year-end by God's grace.

From experience you don't mix old batteries with new one. So it's either you use the 2 batteries for a long time and then buy complete 4 in future

I checked on the specs of the said inverter. I noticed it has a 50A PWM solar charge controller. I can only advice you try to match the solar panel's PV voltage to the battery voltage which for example about 17Vdc at max power for 12V systems or about 28Vdc for 24V systems.

You can always get another four 150w panels to increase capacity to 1200w. But left for me, I'll rather get an MPPT controller and connect all four arrays in series. Goodluck.

@mctfopt.
If I am correct, my present panels at 8a×4=32a in parallel has exceeds the capacity of the 50a pwm cc in it. And I still want to get 4 more panels. I am expecting a 60a mppt powermr cc. I know that will work with my present inverter but I am concerned about my fridge(inverter capacity can't carry fridge) Transformer in our area has been down for months now so fridge is redundant now.

Question is will the new inverter still need the mppt cc you talked about as it already has its own being hybrid? Thanks

1. How good is it:- The inverter is arguably among the mid class inverters that will give you value for your money it's rugged...speaking from experience i have used the brand for some years now without issues.

2. Will it carry my fridge for about 4 hrs :- per capacity it should conveniently handle that and even more, but the number of hours depends on the capacity of your battery bank
3. I have 4 *150w panels presently, how many more 150 w panels do I buy?:- This also depends on the capacity of your battery bank
4. The best configuration to connect the panels(all at joined in parallel presently): The inverter is 24v so your panels must give at least 24v. So if your panels are 12v, you connect in series to achieve 24v but if they are 24v then you connect in parallel.
Hope this helps

Go to people selling generator. What you require is the battery used by kick and start generators.
Mine is dead and I am also planning on buying a replacement but replacements are not as good as follow come, I heard.
