What have the states done with the resources at their disposal for the last 20 years?

Pay salaries because that is what they are designed for.?

Late Mbakwe built an airport despite Shagari's refusal to build one for Old IMO, at the end, Shagari still refused to convert the airport to an international airport

The problem is not just leadership but also system error

Port Novo is not a Yoruba Town but a town of the Fon people( The women warriors who defeated Yoruba men in battles )

Abeokuta Ibadan Ilorin Ondo Oshogbo are still filled with mud houses signifying poverty

Guy stop fooling yourself and ask yourself a very serious question

Why only Lagos.?

All you have done here is resorted to insults
Those "mud house" regions are still richer than gully ridden south east

And your yet to answer my question mention one south east state that can rival ondo ? At least you know we are in several countries can you say the same about your people who refused to go beyond enclave or reach the sea ? Lol

Port novo is a mixed territory with fon and Yoruba people the Yoruba name of the city is Ajashe

Btw did the oyo empire not subjugate Dahomey lol
Dahomey never defeated Yoruba in any war
The highest they did was a surprise attack which they eventually lost

Make no mistake the oil in abia, imo and Anambra will put igbo land in another pedestal. Receiving crumbs from central government and absolute control is different keg of fish

Abia and Imo state oil put together is not up to that of Ondo state... Anambra has not been recognized as oil producing state...

I thought the oil in Ondo belongs to the ijaw community which restructuring will bring them to their kith and kins in delta state?

Okorocha meant is that if "Nigeria is a Bottle", just wash the back and change it's label and still maintain the quality of it's content. that's packaging.
But he forget that the most important is actually the content.

That's why I insist on re-orientation. The problem is not so much about the system, but on the the operators.

Restructuring will not suddenly bring good governance.

Rochas seems confused. What does he really mean by 'repackaging'? How does that begin to address the myriad of problems plaguing this country?
Sugarcoating the decay in the current system. You want him to campaign for restructuring? How would that benefit him? He is doing well, stealing from the people. And to him, the status quo is just fine.

The people must fight, the politicians are happy the way things are.

Do you have comprehension problem

How does reorientation gives state governments the power to build international; airports, seaports, railway lines, river ports, etc

How does reorientation gives state governments the power to exploit their resources to build the social economic infrastructures needed to empower their indigenes.

Obviously a misleading headline by some good-for-nothing writer. I did not read where the governor was quoted as opposing restructuring. All I read up there is him saying that restructuring means different things to different regions.
In any case, he is a goof ball. Nigeria must restructure in other for it to continue to exist as one entity. My apologies to those unpatriotic elements who are scared to the bones of restructuring. Enough of the cheating and exploitation.

Umahi and okoroawusa knows better than you all

Stay on your lane and speak for yourself. If they know better they should be busy engaging their lazy ass in growing and creating grass root projects that will increase their IGR thereby creating more jobs and also attracting investors from other regions. A good example is Abakaleke rice, what stops the state from packaging such a precious comodity by creating better ways to get loans or easy land purchase/lease for large scale rice production. The north had groundnut pyramids which was exported and other regions had large production of cocoa, Palm products e.t.c so no region stand to loss if we work hard after restructuring.
