There is a difference between not wanting to be here in the moment because of whatever is happening around you- parasuicidal thoughts are fleeting and they vary with intensity.
Then there is having morbid thoughts that are not influenced by anything around you. You want to and intend to die. There is nothing wrong with your life you just don't want to be alive. Suicide with intent.
I feel you are the former because you are here on this forum looking to be rescued. A dominant trait individuals with borderline personality disorder have.

Boy, if you're just unhappy, don't panic. The degree of happiness in a person's life is very fluid and can vary dramatically from one minute to the next. Your moment will find you.

It isn't unhappiness that makes someone off himself; it's hopelessness. Someone said: to live, happy, you need something to do; someone to love; and something to hope for. IMO, you can't do without one: hope. If you have that, you can hold out for the rest. No matter how far fetched, if you can picture a better tomorrow, why would you not want to give it a chance to come true for you? Hang on to it.

What you need to do right now, to get out of that negative head space, is get busy with some project. A small one, maybe. Apply yourself to something, see it to completion and appreciate your usefulness on this earth. There's only one life to be had o! After that, no one knows what sort of consciousness we would be plagued with. Energy is not created, not destroyed, only changed......
