I have met young women who were commercial sex workers in calabar, but lived normal lives in Lagos. And  most people in Lagos regarded them as good women with their shops in Lagos.

There was a time my youngest brother needed money urgently for his studies at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and I did not have enough money and I did want want to borrow. No parents and no relations to turn to. People prostitute for different reasons. Imagine a girl who does it for the fun of it, can she really change in her heart? After marriage, whats the guaranty that she will not do it with someone either for the fun of it or to get out of a difficult situation.

I dont think prostitutes make the best wives. some may change and become very submissive to their husband, that may just mean they realise that their choices are limited and try to salvage whatever is left. That doesn't make a good wife, it simply makes an unequal partner.

which girl is not tainted ? those ones who already have more than ten boy at the age of 23 or the ones who have 2 at a time or the ones who change every month, in the end 50/ are like prostitute.

let me tell u a story about a girl. this happened in naija.

     one day, girl meets boy, and they fell in love. the girl later confessed that she is a prostitute but stopped because of the love between them. the guy believed her but there was still the tiny lingering doubt in his mind. the guy spoiled her with many things, took care of her family (mother, brothers, sisters, etc).
he later proposed to her and she said yes.
     one day while waiting for bus, a nice car stopped to offer her a ride and she graciously accepted. while talking (in the car) the guy was asking her out, she declined but the guy still gave her his business card. they met again and the guy offered her 2 million Naira to sleep with him, she declined on the spot, the guy didn't accept defeat and said she should call him if she changes her mind. (note that she didn't mention that she was engaged to be married soon).
     she got home and started thinking. she calculated that the she can do more stuff for her mother in the village (after all the fiance has done). she was like one more time can't hurt. she called the guy and they set up the date for the "koko." she got to the hotel, the guy showed her the money and they got busy, after, the guy called for room service. room service turned out to be the fiance. she was shocked (yawa don burst), the fiance just picked up the briefcase and left with his friend.
     it was the fiance that planned the whole thing to test whether she has completely left prostitution and whether she could be trusted to do the right thing in the face of temptation.
     the moral of the story is that no matter how much u say u love him/her there will ALWAYS be a lingering doubt in your mind about their trust or faithfulness. applies to both popular and abele (hush hush) prostitutes.
