Allohrandy: The problem with our country is that we mix politics with religion and tribalism. Nigeria is a secular country with people of different religion and tribes. CAN and their Moslem counterpart should remain in the church or mosque and should not be involved with politics. It is not right for religious leaders to air their views on policies by politicians they deem unpleasant to their religions. But it is okay for politicians to go to religious leaders canvassing for votes before an election. |
kolawaxxy: A 7-day ultimatum after which what would happen?Another name for ultimatum in Nigeria is shakara. Although I don't take Boko Haram's ultimatum for granted. Dem no go even tell u before dem do am. |
GSKing: Very good, superb strategy. No work, no pay has my full support. Let us all strike together and search for menial jobs! While your politicians continue to massively feed on our resources from the comfort of their homes and offices? I feel like crying at the moment because with this mindset, I doubt we will be able to deliver ourselves from these devils. In case you don't know, how problem is not epileptic power supply, poverty, bad roads, dilapidated health facilities, abysmal economy e.t.c, our problem is bad leadership. They are our problem, let's join hands and fight them. |
gregg2: The No Work No Pay should commence.I pray it won't take too long before you recognise the fact that our leaders are callous. |
homesteady: No work No pay has my 100% support! They are not doing yanga, they have a just course. As far as I'm concerned, FG is the cause of this strike. Why would you enter into an agreement and refuse to play your own part of the deal? Little wonder why they make laws and break it at will. Our leaders don't respect agreement. And if you think the country don't have the necessary funding for our universities, it's a big LIE! They borrow money and continue to indebt this country just to fool us that there's no money but people like us know better. The recent $300m loan from China is highly preposterous. Another name for the Nigerian oil sector is secrecy. No one knows exactly how much we are making and the National Assembly has refused to pass the PIB. Bunch of thieves! The lecturers are supposed to be adequately compensated for their hardwork in developing themselves intellectually. Not some school cert, Toronto graduates who just accidentally found their ways into the corridor of power, milking this country. |
All na politicking, na so politicians dey do. They are all guilty; just to show that he's religiously tolerable. |
Well, they could have another hidden agenda but they sure have a justifiable reason for the strike. Our politicians want to continue giving us the impression that this country is poor so as to make sure feathering their nest doesn't cease. |
Airforce1: Better to be a fugitve, fraudster and alleged ex-convict and be Rich, than having a good name and still remain poor.I bet u, if u get conscience, u no go want dat kain moni. |
Fkforyou: I can help but laugh when people think he or she can acquire great wealth without any sin involved...always know that politics and business are like cousins,Dangote is no saint but atleast he is still investing in Nig...D wise thing to do is to learn how to play d game and beat him instead of complaining about his monopoly on Nig.economy.Playing the game means lobbying for monopoly power too but you seem to have forgotten that if you are not in the cabal, there's no way you can have your way in this country. |
E be like say Yvonne Nelson don dey talk too much dis days. Abi she wan succeed Tonto? |
fr3do: What does the b stand forAny of her most precious assets that starts with "B". |
mike404: IBADAN = IGBO BOYS ARE DANGEROUS AT NIGHTThough this is old, this is the kind of abbreviation that should be provided. It's funny and more sensible. |
I don't find this hilarious joor. I expected the abbreviation to make sense in a funny way. For instance, NYSC-Now your suffering continues. Not just providing a name that starts with a particular letter. |
I'm proud when I see children speak both English and native languages fluently. I can't be proud if my children can't speak my dialect. I believe the responsibility lies with the parents. Your children will only learn the language you train them with. Even when they are not yet conscious of their environment, when they appear they don't understand what you are saying(from childbirth), start speaking your dialect with them. Most parents want their children to communicate effectively in English but make sure you mix your dialect when communicating with them. By the time they are 5years, you see them responding with both languages. Just make sure the use of both languages is balanced. Don't use one for too long at the expense of the other. |
Fine boy looking producer. Is that not Majid? I shouldn't have given this möron my attention. |
I wonder how fake some scenes in the film will look like. Can they properly act the aspect of Boko boys using bombs? Na only developed nations especially USA that can make the film look real and interesting. |
The kind of pleasure my joystick gives me makes me sometimes wonder what this life will be like if there wasn't something like this and here is someone who deliberately cut it off. Na wa o. I can't trade it for anything. |
2chainzz: did he borrowed urs?Did he borrow yours? |
PasD: There was great joy yesterday amongst Imo State Corps members as they received alert of 10,000 naira allowance from the state govvernment. As a matter of fact, I was dazed when I saw this text message on my phone "CR- Alert Acct: 6017225701, Amt: 10000.00, Desc: STATE ALLOWANCE BO NYSC ASS AVE, Date: 09/10/2013, Aval Bal: 30657.00"Hope those are not your correct information. |
My grouse with her is the irresponsible statement. It shows that she's fed up and doesn't know what to do to forestall future accidents again. |
odua boy: The foolish bigot is too stupid to see that,When the education minister was sacked it was because of incompetency, now that stella oduah is being asked to resign it's because everyone hates ibo, majority of ibo posters on nairalnad reason with their brain stuck in their butt. It's an intense feeling of self-importance. An average ibo man is arrogant. |
Gabriel_sylar: Ritual killer dadAs good and important as the mouth is, it can also lead one into destruction if one doesn't watch what one says. |
Fazhy: I thought it was reported that he told Jide Obanikoro & other friends that visited him that he was alright. You are feeling alright doesn't mean you're actually alright. Even most of us feel once we are not sick, it means that we're okay but it is a wrong conviction. That's why we don't take regular medical checkups seriously and you wonder why some people die suddenly for natural causes. |
ik4life: Tinubu get ward 4 the hospital...... NawaoShouldn't that tell you that the ward was just named after him just like Thunder Balogun stadium. |
philip.adesola:luscious yansh, causing commotion everywhere. This must not be real o otherwise...... |
Na who wan snap with u before. Dey dia dey console ya sef. |
Senator SmartAdeyemi (PDP, Kogi) said investigation he conducted in Lagos for three days revealed that the aircraft was on a “test flight” which was why there were many aircraft engineers onboard. “Somebody might have thought of making quick money. Some times in this chamber we must speak the truth. Corruption is responsible for the air crashes in Nigeria,” he saidIf this investigation is anything to go by, then I would say it is shameful. And to those defending her, her administration has experienced too many air mishaps and saying accidents are inevitable occurrences is like a case of "pesin wey dem wan roast wey dey rub oil for body. Is like accusing Toyota of a defect in their car involved in an accident. It will be extremely shameful and disappointing for them to be defensive by using the minister's remark instead of taking full responsibility and assuring the public that they will correct the defects and make sure it never reoccures again. I can only imagine what the victims' families will do to her if they were beside her when she uttered those words. |
Chei! Konji na bastard. |
As dem no buy toy for me when I dey young, na to dey spin dis phone on its back on top table whenever I dey idle. ![]() |
Just when I was about to condemn Samsung for their boring curved edge design which has been around for too long, they just pushed the words right back into my mouth with this lovely curvy design. It is absolutely outstanding; I love it. Looks like canoe in the last pix. |
