iwaeda:Abeg who dey count number of Christians killed. Make everyone dey keep him own record. After all, na Uzodinma own results sheet he take become supreme court Governor. Since we don't want to be serious in this country, make all of us dey mad na. Every day killings, it is nauseating. |
rescuenaija:King of Mendacity |
rescuenaija:King of mendacity has spoken. |
tobenuel:It is difficult to wake up some one pretending to be a sleep. |
A country not founded on equity and justice will not last long. Who will give justice those security men murdered in cold blood when even the living can't get Justice? Everyone call for peace, what about justice? There can never be Peace without Justice. It is not enough to asked the offended to live in peace with his killers. Where is equity when some persons are held in captivity while others who commits greater heinous crime are engaged in dialogues and pacified with funds meant for law abiding citizens. In all you do, avoiding adding yourself to the statistics, nobody care a dam about anyone in this country especially your politicians. Na next election be their problem. |
Yankee101:Who and when will the government be held responsible for innocent lives taken violently by the security agencies operating in the SE. Let bring everyone to justice including government. Note I don't support killing of anyone by anybody or any group. |
phobia2002:It is better he shared it out to his friends and cronies abi. The land was given to university for a reason, right. So what is wrong with Wike helping the school achieve those dreams. Are there no other lands in Abuja where he can grab. A man whose children school abroad with mansions waiting for them there will definitely sell everything here in Nigeria that can benefit the common man. And for those hailing him, do you think this man will allow you marry his daughter? No. They will always marry in the circle of those who steal the country dry. I hope you get it. |
The writer is economical with the truth. It would have been very revealing if he had chronological outline the various events that occurred between IPOB and the Nigerian state. At what point did the movement become violent? Was it the initial plan to be violent? What led to the violence? The write need to provide a much more comprehensive write up. Speaking of dialogue, the writer forgot that a meeting was held between MNK and the 5 Eastern Governors before these governors told Buhari to proscribe IPOB, after which Buhari obliged them. Did the governors ever released what was discussed in that meeting? The Governors panicked because they know they Lacked capacity to meet MNK request and the easiest way out is to call on Buhari to proscribe the group. It is unfortunate that innocent people had to die in the face off between government and the group. It is double standard that Buhari and the Nigerian state could dialogue with internationally recognised terrorist but chose to use blackmail and brutal force on IPOB. Peace comes from sense Justice. Let the Governors do the needful and lasting peace will come to the region. |
It's certain that some of the tax policies may encourage cash transaction thereby impacting on cashless society. If I don't bank how will they track my income earned out outside formal transaction? For example, drug business often based on cash dealings. |
Heffalump:Forget it. The best result the Super Eagles can get in SA is a draw. We ain't good enough. The earlier we accept this the better for everyone. |
Hope Uzodinma has not done well. I am surprised that those who knows nothing about the state will be the one hailing he most. I would like those people to come down to Imo state, leave Owerri and move around the communities and see for themselves if they can see any benefit of Uzodinma's government. No electricity, no road, poor health care facilities and dilapidated schools. I implore them to visit Ngor-Okplala LGA and find out if there is any government project started and completed in the LGA in the past 6yrs. Imo state is all about Owerri, the state capital. |
An elite aligning with a fellow elite. Bourgeoisie aligning with fellow bourgeoisie. That how they roll. The poor and hungry ones here will still praise their masters. |
https://punchng.com/north-central-lp-chairmen-back-abure-condemn-obi-ottis-actions/ Is Obi a member of the NEC? Those asking Abure to step down is the NEC of the party which is a statutory organ of the party. Abure failed to conduct elections at the ward and state level as should be the case. The man is just a typical Nigerian politician who will never follow agreed guidelines but will seek to manipulate for selfish reasons. He rather started at the top instead of bottom. |
Abure is disciple of Tinubu's grab it, snatch it and run with it. He has ran into a brick wall. You have served not the party, while not hold an all inclusive congress according to the agreement as stipulated in the consent judgement agreed by all parties. A crook will always act as one. |
Beside being a wasteful project, it is smeared with corruption. It's a misplaced priority. The existing road network has been in crisis. Housing is more critical compared to the coastal road, New towns can be built freeing up the cities and new economic hubs. What Lagos- calabar needs is a train rail system. This is to further attract more business to Lagos ports, while those in south south are killed for Lagos to remain the shipping hub |
Inosky:The Imo state judgement is now used as judicial precedence. This is the danger of bad judgement. Except the court will try to correct the intentional mistake of Imo Judgement. But the harm has already done to Imo people. |
Head or tail Reno Omokri will find fault with PO. Peter knows Reno is empty, a man who can not manage his family, never stood for even councillor's election. He will only respond directly to Tinubu. Silence is the best answer for a fool. |
If you have made up your mind to seek for university education then do it. I played football then got a serious knee injury at 24. During my injury rest, I wrote Jamb and passed. Entered the university at 25, lost a year to strikes, graduated at 30. Today a charterred Accountant. So you can do better. |
AllBlack:Our people need to take some responsibilities too while government carry out theirs. The main issue will be the deep rooted corruption in our system. Will those saddled with the responsibility of putting these guys in check do their work? For example I have a police post 4 buildings away from my house, these guys are only after yahoo boys where they make money while allowing this scavengers move around deep in the night with stolen items. |
Nice move. With the level of insecurity in the country the State and Local governments must find away to put all forms of criminality in check. These guys with trucks comes in during the day to survey the environment and come back at night to commit crimes. This guys move around with big loads on their heads unchecked deep in the nights when people are asleep. They break into shops, steal whatever they can lay their hands on, dump rubbish on the roads. I am still expecting Lagos state government to ban these guys from night movement. |
Some Nigerians are hypocrites. No wonder Nigeria is just a business for the ruling class who understands how gullible their followers are. Those calling her names would have been comfortable if her comments were made by a Nigerian living in Nigeria abi? FANTASTICALLY CORRUPT COUNTRY was she the one who said this too? |
HardBishop:Many of those I know who supported Tpain in 2023 have ran out of the country to UK and Canada, leaving others to suffer the pain of the wrong choice they helped to power. |
[quote author=fuckJones post=132919165]Morris iwu was the worst INEC chairman, he was from imo state[/quotpe] Humphrey Nwosu was the best electoral body Chairman, he was from Anambra. |
Hope Uzodinma is fraud, Fraud is hope Uzodinma. Unfortunately for Imo people, the man is an experienced con man, like his Oga at the top. |
Believe this at your own peril. Government of promises no action. |
Oghene86:Wike always looking for a soft target. He has refused to respond to Dino who is ready to jump into the gutter with him. Nigerian politicians, fear them and their supporters. |
Harddiskng:It will be contradictory to say that Christ encouraged opulence while ask the rich young man to go sell his properties, give the proceeds to the poor and come follow Him. He should have simple asked the man to follow Him without the instruction to sell his properties. It also bring to the question "what is having enough?" for a Christian. If the Bible encourages christains to live a moderate life. What will this moderate life be? I believe the word of God can not be contradictory. |
Christians are supposed to be Christ like. So the question will be what will Christ say or do with such a gift? How did the early apostle lived their lives? are our present day MOG following in their footsteps? Many of those conferred Sainthood left their noble homes and weath to identify with the poor. Converting all their wealth to help the poor and propagate the message of Christ. This madness of weath pursuit is mostly with our Pentecostals and less with the Orthodox. |
Politicians always wants to force their ambition on the people. Benjamin Kalu as ranking person in this APC government gives him a false impression of self importance and hence the show of arrogance. The young man should better watch his tongues, because the Abia people will document every of his words and actions. There are greater issues in the East to be passionate about than selfish ambitions of Idiots who call themselves leaders. |
Good move for both sides. I am wishing him the best on this new role. I know Emma is not someone who will entertain interference from any quarter. |
