aputel: You my friend will go places!! Back in 2013 when I told my friends I was gonna be studying hospitality management. They laughed at me...like what can you do? someone even asked me "so you're gonna be managing a hospital?" Pushed on!! Noticed the trend in Nigeria changed...everyone was moving into events management...events centres were on the rise...learnt alot on events working part time for a start-up...brushing my cooking skills on the side...after my degree in Msia, came back to Nigeria and used one year to learn a lot of skills ...brushed up more on my cooking...gave out a lot of free samples, got cheated in the process...as God would have it I landed a job in the US...my industry and now I handle a whole department in a ski resort... if only Nigerians can sit down, have patience and learn some skills... University education is just too basic for anything...times have changed and we gotta work with the trends...still coming back to Nigeria with a bang to startup again!!! THE MONEY MUST BE MADE!! 6 Likes |

kriss27: You must know what you want to get in life by choosing philosophy as a career , not bad if you want to lecture and by that you have to top it up to a doctorate level and probably get connected here and there to get you you a teaching job . But if you are asking me to give my advice ,you need to sit down and redefine yourself . You seems to be looking for admission at all cost . |
