Timagex: Hmmmm. Height!!
Some years ago, I asked my mom for the reason of my shortness. She told me that I did not pay "owo idagba soke". (Money for tall height). She assured me that I'll grow taller when I pay. That was how I saved part of my lunch time money in school. I gave her the money with all seriousness and she promised to take it to where my height will be adjusted. I was so happy. . I became confused when she used my money to buy dried fish for soup! I was so angry. She later told dad about it and I became a laughing stock!!! Anytime I remember it, I will just smile.
Even when I started driving, police will stop me and ask..."How old are you"? "Kekere, you dey see front so? |

Lush100: sir, If i am right banks was not mentioned in Buhari's speech as among exempted yet they are very important for people to access cash . the pharmacy opened will not sell drugs free. I am not sure Sanwo olu mentioned banks too however i heard he encouraged electronic and online transactions. The statement refers financial institutions shall be allowed to operate, which by extension includes banks. There is even a thread on fp here, where cbn appealed to fg to allow banks operate. This lockdown is not to wound u, na to keep u safe. |

You want to keep enjoying where you did not sow.

sweetmelanin: This is ridiculous. Why is it that when Nigeria wants to copy the West, they do so without use of common sense. ...so they want all supermarkets to close down during the 2week lock down? Whereas here abroad all supermarkets are open despite several weeks of lockdown because most foodstuff are perishable and having access to food is a major necessity!
In Nigeria, leaders reason like animals and there's no common thought/ consideration for the average man. . I heard banks will be open during the "lockdown" but foodstores will be shut for the next couple weeks abi? Sanwu Olu told Lagosians to do their shopping today in preparation for what's to come.. lol .. so those that cannot buy food today should go and die right? Pathetic! Foodstores will not be shut. It is the people above that just dont have sense. All foodstores, medical facilities (including pharmacy) and banks will still be allowed to open... my people please relax...jeez! |

The Nigeria international could be rewarded for his brilliant strike against the Bees which sent the Foxes into the next round of the FA Cup Kelechi Iheanacho’s winner against Brentford has been nominated for Leicester City Goal of the Month for January. The Super Eagles star scored the solitary goal with only four minutes into the encounter which was enough to send the Foxes into the FA Cup fourth round.
The former Manchester City striker tapped home from close range after a timely cross from James Justin. Iheanacho will slug it out with Ayoze Perez, James Maddison, Hamza Choudhury, Admiral Muskwe, Harvey Barnes and Ricardo Pereira for a chance to clinch the individual prize. Iheanacho has scored eight goals and contributed four assists in 14 appearances across all competitions this season.
The Nigeria international will hope to continue his fine form when Leicester face Wolverhampton Wanderers on February 14.

Yankiss: I read the post thoroughly and I don't have comprehension issues. It was an advice I thought superfluous in the African context though germane elsewhere. You and I know that the enlightenment for self-quarantine in cases of suspected exposure is not there. What the government can do is to raise grassroots awareness and initiate ways and means of isolating suspected cases for quarantine. Many people are still dying of HIV/AIDS despite free tests and treatment available in many government hospitals. People will rather go to babalawos that they are having spiritual attack or witchcraft other than self-quarantine. It's the reality here. Ok, so you feel people would simply fail to adhere to this...right? But that THe ministry is simply doing its job by issuing this statement as standard procedure. This public notice is in itself a form of awareness about the disease. And it already stated clearly what the symptoms are , as well as measures to be taken so as to keep everybody safe. There is no case recorded in Nigeria yet, so there is no need for aggressiveness in its approach, this is a level 1 warning |

Yankiss: U are a big bold idiot. Well, thanks. I just wanted to point out to you How superfluous your rant is over this topic. A simple perusal over the post would have helped you to understand the real meaning of the post and why it is a good move. Just know that it is to early for wailing. ok bye! |
