With sexism on the rise, the common sights of eve-teasing, grabbing and groping, rapes, there have been artworks that hit right there. With those constant stares, those harassing eyes, male entitlement is and has been the topic of immense concern for women. Brooklyn-based photographer, Allaire Bartel's series "Boundaries" captured the everyday chauvinism, as brutally as it is practiced.
There is no denying the fact that each woman has atleast once in her life faced some sort of sexual aggression. The artist has brought the clicks to life with disembodied male hands, grabbing women, at the 'not so safe' spots. From a yoga class to home to work, this series is a reflection of the constant risk that women deal with.
The unwanted, unsolicited touch is heart-breaking. The intrusion into the everyday activities has been depicted unwarrantedly.
A jarring visual symbolisation, we hope 'Boundaries' becomes successful in crafting those boundaries of everyday male conduct and makes life a little easier for women on this planet.

2. Titled as 'The Bar', for her smooth thighs are simply irresistible!
Maybe, this shows that every 'man' finds it difficult to hold himself back whenever he sees a damsel, enjoying herself at a bar, sitting on a high-rise chair! Gosh, she is just so seductive

3. Titled as 'The Kitchen', when he wants to suffocate her, grabbing her by her neck!
For that is such an erogenous zone! Domestic violence will no more be acceptable.

4. Titled as 'The Office', a powerful one at that, when the actual inner wish of the sexists is out in the open!
When she is applauded not for her work, but for something 'else', if you know what I mean.
