If I didn't raise the Impala jet issue you would have deceived us that SAAF had 250 fantastic jets during Angolan war. Fraudster, you think Nigerians are unlearned people like your fellow Soweto lazy men koeldrank drinkers who don't work and don't go to school while ANC government feeds their parasite mouths daily?

Anyway SAAF Gripens have only 25 missiles, NAF F-7 jets over 100 missiles, then add JF-17 missiles incoming.

We know NAF is getting total air superiority over SAAF after Christmas, enjoy your newly dropped air power rankings cheesy cheesy
.

SAAF has unlimited supply from next year onwards

You have mostly very very old versions of Oerlikon, only few are a bit modern, you wanna put CRAM on obsolete guns?

Tell us how many of the few good ones will be CRAM configured, we need numbers, though the current cash trouble of SANDF may still afford about 4 units of guns by 2017-2020
.

Cash was assigned to the contract

CRAM is a complete upgrade to the gun.

It is simply yet another thing Nigeria will not have

Shot down MiG-21 with Mirage F-1 and you boast? Lol.

Why did your Mirage F-1 not shoot down MiG-23 in the same war?

SAAF cowards, using jets to chase helicopters, avoiding Cuban teenage pilots of MiG-23 cheesy cheesy

SAAF/SADF shot down 3 Mig-23ML's in Angola

It's just a file photo of "fighters". Unfortunately, a lot of journalists can't tell the difference between fighters not to talk of country of origin.

This is just more Tucano talk the Article doesn't even state the kind of Aircraft you're going to buy, you could be buying Migs or this might just be misguided information, the only jet I believe you guys might be getting is the Jf-17

It stand for display as in the sight is displayed on the helmet and not only on the HUD, and as i have clearly stated before a hms and hmsd is the same, hence the reason the word OR was used to indicate that a helmet used for targeting or cueing of weapons can either be called a hms OR hmsd, its 2 different names for the same thing.

I posted source of why JF-17 is cheap, free technology of J-10 engineering works given to Pakistan almost for free, the whole R & D cost was as low as $500 million !

Gripen costs Billions of dollars R & D.....and also Europeans over-price their products, like the Volvo cost more than Toyota but Toyoto is far more reliable and better all round specs/performance.

SAAF bought over-priced Gripen, thanks to the millions of dollars bribe payed to ANC politicians by SAAB Sweden.

A jet that sells by bribery and corruption must be over-priced and not worth the money !
.

Actualy SAAF was looking at the eurofighter and the rafale, and it was decided that the gripen best suited the needs of Saaf, the gripen also had the the least maintenance cost not only of the 3 but the least for any fighter in the world and was able to land on the shortest runways making it perfect for africa, and yes there was corruption, but unlike nigeria where corruption goes unpunished we have a justice system and the guilty will be punished, btw nigeria is way more corrupt than SA which is a proven fact.

South African Navy OPV and IPV purchase confirmed!!

South Africa will be ordering 3 OPV's and 3 IPV's
http://www.engineeringnews.co.za/article/start-of-acquisition-process-for-six-new-sa-navy-patrol-vessels-confirmed-2014-03-20

The interesting part

For reasons of seaworthiness and endurance, and to be able to effectively operate a helicopter, the new OPVs are expected to be much larger, displacing perhaps 2 000 t or even more.

Yes, that is right, our 3 new OPV's will all be bigger than Nigeria's new "light frigates" (which weigh in at 1,440 tons), meaning that (by the Nigerian definition) South Africa will have a fleet of 7 Frigates

((((((BBBBBOOOOOOMMMMMMM)))))))))

SAAF has unlimited supply from next year onwards

According to the law of economics, there is NOTHING like unlimited supply in this world when money cost in involved.

The law of economics rather says that HUMAN NEEDS are unlimited.
