Hahahah what refueling capability F-7grin are you talking about because none of your jets have a refueling capability.

Yes google is your friend also like we told your countryman before you aren't dealing with a bunch of ignorant South Africans, we know full well what NAF's limitations are, including our own SAAF. Google is your friend don't try to run when u can't even crawl properly.

By the way your bro mr aguagust aka military expert, gave us the source to his BTR claim now he disputes his own source when he been proven of being a liar.

Captain now show us that you're not on the same foolish level as that wanna be analyst and show us the proof not 20year futuristic dreams.
lol. Who is talking about 20yr futuristic dream?
I can remember vividly arguing that nigeria were getting the 24 L-15 trainers but your comrades refuted saying it was a lie, now deliveries have started alongside "II-76 aircraft, 24 units of j-10B, 24 units of JF-7A's, 2 units of Mi-26TB, 3 UNITS of Ka-60/64, 10 units of Mi-17-iv, 2 units of Mi-17-ivA, 4 units of Ka-29TB, 24 units of Mi-35M, 6 UNITS OF Ka-26 etc . . . .
Please to verify this do check janes aprill 2013 updated inventory or most importantly Z9.invisionfree military acquistions thanks.

Bro invisionfree is one of the worst fictitious sites you can ever come across in military circles now can I give you a few reasons why in conjunction with the claims you've made here. I am a subscription member of jane's and I find some of your claims here very laughablygrin no pun intended

1) J-10B is only in service in the in China and Pakistan as to date jane's said that Nigeria showed interest but then went for the F-7 export version. The J-17 are for now out of the questiontongue

2)The L-15 Falcon was never in dispute from any of SA commentators on this thread and I have no issues with that claim.

3)Now I've never heard of a Mi-26TB don't know where you get the delusion from because no such helo exists as far I know(google is your friend remembergrin

4)The Kamov ka-26(Hoodlum) is a 1966-1978 old outdated museum time peace, yet I see your "invisionfree" claim you getting deliveries in Q4,2013grin
Now good luck with the NAF's strategic acquisition of the Kamov ka-26 I say R.I.P in advance to those airfoce personnel flying themgrin

5)Now the NAF according to your own procurement sources and beagleblog reported
Nigeria 3 Mi-35P/hind-A combat versions in 2012(ex Russian)

6)6 M-8MT/Mi-17 (hip-H) not 10 as you claim and your invisionfree

7) The Kamov ka-29TB is one of the oldest naval transporter helicopters and was only in service in 4-5 navies to date and by today its an old outdated helo. The Agusta-109 that NAF operates is far better then the ka-29tbtongue

cool On the II-76 cargo airlift plane, Nigeria is not a operator of this aircraft not now or in the next year for that matter. There's no record of this.
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/IIyushin_II-76

Now I will await the answer on the air refueling capability of NAF. By the way Nigeria's best bet for a refueling capability would be to revamp one C-130H with modern 15 engines for that capability. The USAF has a few and even displayed it at Waterkloof AFB,SA some 2years ago even Sweden uses them in that role, including a few other Nato nations.

What. You really asking that qustion. You sure you work in the deffense industry.

Yes I work in the industry and I don't judge weapons carelessly. I noticed something technical about BTR -3U and I don't want to jump to conclusion about the weapon because it's a confusing product and we all don't have direct access to its manufacturer in Ukraine.

I have my own facts ready, but I need my laptop to post after closing from office late evening.

invisionfree website is VERY CONFUSING and I have stopped using it because people mix reality with ideas.

You get a lot of correct military information but the posters also mix it with their own personal ideas and it's hard to separate their reality from ordinary ideas and wishes.

Best sites are army recognition, military technology, naval recognition, and Wikipedia. If I remember the others I will post the website names.

for nigerian weapons and military , beegeagle blog is also good.

A new chapter began in the history of the Nigerian Air Force as the Minister of State for Defence, Erelu Olusola Obada, yesterday commissioned a commercial aircraft purchased by its personnel.

Speaking at the occasion, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh, assured Nigerians of safety in Nigerian air space, saying that their aircraft and personnel were in perfect shape as he expressed satisfaction with the project. At the launching of a United Airline Boeing 737-500, Badeh said the newly acquired aircraft was under a joint partnership between the Aeronautical Engineering and Technical Services of the Nigerian Air Force Holding Company (NAFHC) and Solicom Engineering Nigeria Limited, a product of Public-Private Partnership (PPP).

He said, “I am so glad with this aircraft; every Air Force personnel contributed to it and it is the first of the series of aircraft that the force plans for carrying troops.” He said its purchase would not deny the patronage of C-130 and others in its hanger.

Earlier in her speech, the Minister of State for Defence, Erelu Olusola Obada, who was represented by the new Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Aliyu Ismaila Numa, said that with the coming on board of the Boeing 737-500 series, it was hoped that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) would build its airlift very soon since it has the capability to do so.

Also speaking at the occasion, the Group Managing Director, NAFHC, Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim Kure, said the aircraft would commence operations with the initial client base of mainly Armed Forces, Police and other para-military force. He also said that the aircraft would be available for charter, adding that this will contribute towards personnel motivation since they will be airlifted to reduce fare. In his remark, the managing director, Aeronautical Engineering and Technical Services Limited (AETSL), Air Vice Marshal Alkali Muhammed Mamu, said the AETSL is solely owned by the officers and men of the NAF.
