Very true but Nigerians like to act as if they're somewhat Demigods in the IT space

The average Indian does not have distractions like women /relationships when growing up.. Everything is book and more book as that's about the only way they know to succeed

Their environment also is enabling as there's reward for hardwork, plenty light, cheap Internet and skilled teachers who actually want you to know what they're teaching you
No wonder dem dey use Facebook anyhow... dey disturb my sister with video call upandan... and dem dey do like ppl wey never see woman before ... these guys are expert at requesting for nudes grin grin grin grin grin cheesy

What is your take on business analytics fieldand the job market in the uk?
TheGuyFromHR:

The data analysis is a good path to follow.
Like I said, in HR, anyone can jump in and take up roles, so keep an open mind and be prepared not to be surprised if your MSc, when obtained, does not particularly impress recruiters.

This is the same reason I dislike Xiaomi. It's a good smart phone but the hype on NL is too much.

Indians are good, but they are not as good as many Nigerians think. They are mostly consumer of technologies and are very cheap compared to their western counterparts.

I watched a video that claimed most VFX and CGI in Hollywood are outsourced to Indians because they will do it for a quarter of the price.

Finland has the best educational system in the world, better than China's and they are not hyped.

You have said it all

People outsource to them cos of their huge population, cheap labour and cos they can get the job done

US companies have also noticed this and are taking advantage of this in Nigeria

One of Microsofts largest support vendors is in Nigeria, and the Nigerian site is one of the best they have

If Nigeria fit jus get 40% sense today, we go better than many countries

Given that Nigerians have few if any of the advantages that you have just mentioned here, is it difficult to see why the Indians are ahead of us in this area?

Well, true

Thanks @kaylov12

The goal is to get a job and remain bro. She loves teaching and has some years of experience teaching. However, The special needs Masters interest her cos her friend told her it's lucrative and almost readily available. I want to be sure before I support it

Thanks

Her friend is right, but the masters would be lucrative after she's already qualified to teach. So it's like two processes here,
1. Train to teach in the UK for QTS
2. Get MA in special needs educ.
I believe it should be in that order. Having a masters i education doesn't give the qualified teacher status QTS.

Go to the Bank and apply for BTA.
You will need CAC docs of the company if you are a Director, nomination letter from your company to attend the event, invitation letter from the host, BVN, confirmed returned ticket and VISA.
You are eligible to $5,000 for BTA
GBP/USD - 1.4100 translating to GBP3,546

With your qualifications, you do PGCE Secondary Mathematics if you have teaching experience. There is more prospect in it that Special needs if the goal is to get a job and remain.

What are your thoughts about PGCE secondary chemistry, she is TRCN registered and practicing in a govt secondary sch in Nigeria

PGCE secondary chemistry is a prospect but in the UK science is taught 3 in 1 in the first 3 years (KS3), afterwards you specialise for higher tier in KS4/5.

In nutshell, she should be able to teach physics, chemistry and biology to yr7 to 9 kids.

Social works is heavily regulated .... I don't think you can work as a social worker with a degree from naija. You would have to have either a bsc or master in social work from the UK
