1. WHEN A MAN REFUSES TO READ HIS BIBLE BUT DEPENDS ON WHAT HIS PASTOR {who should also sit down and read} TELLS HIM, YOU SHOULD EXPECT ALL KINDS OF RELIGIOUS CONFUSION.
2. WHEN THE SO CALL 'PASTOR' ALSO FORGET HIS PRIMARY CALL TO WIN SOULS AND START PREACHING & TEACHING DOCTRINES JUST TO KEEP HIS TERRITORY INTACT, YOU SHOULD EXPECT CONFUSION.
3. WHEN OUR 'PASTORS' AND LEADERS LIKE ELI IN THE BOOK OF SAMUEL DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR OWN HOUSEHOLD AND CHILDREN BUT START POLICING OTHER PEOPLE YOU SHOULD EXPECT NOTHING ELSE BUT CONFUSION.
4. MANY GENERAL OVERSEERS, FOUNDERS, PASTORS, EVANGELISTS AND WHAT EVER TITLE YOU MAY WANT TO CALL THEM ARE BETTER REFERRED TO AS "KINGDOM POLICEMAN" RATHER THAN PREACHERS. ALL THEY TALKED ABOUT IS {women wearing trouser, women not covering their head, women ministering from the pulpit, women putting on ear rings; wearing lace; weaving or styling their hair; using powder and perfumes; etc}
5. ALL THOSE DEFENDING GOD AND HIS WORD FORGET THAT THEIR FIRST DUTY IS TO WORK OUT THEIR OWN SALVATION WITH TREMBLING AND FEAR. WHEN WE GET TO HEAVEN {that is if they finally make it} EVERY ONE WILL STAND TO RECEIVE HIS COMMENDATION / CONDEMNATION.

I will also want to ask few questions which some of us can help ask some of these "policemen/women" in the Church.
1. WHAT IS THE TYPICAL WEAR OF AN HEBREW MAN & WOMAN? MUST WE ALL BE DRESSING LIKE AN HEBREW OR A JEW, PETER AND PAUL, SALOME AND LYDIA BEFORE WE CAN MAKE HEAVEN? LET THEM GIVE US AN APPROVED LIST SO THAT WE CAN KNOW WHAT STYLE TO SOW WHEN NEXT WE GO TO FASHION DESIGNERS.
2. WAS THE WOMAN WHO POURED COSTLY OINTMENT ON CHRIST FEET AND LATER ON USED HER HAIR TO WIPE IT OFF WEARING AN HEAD-TIE/NOT? BEARING IN MIND THAT NO PLACE COULD BE A BETTER CHURCH THAN WHERE CHRIST ASSEMBLED HIS DISCIPLES FOR TEACHING.
3. WHICH CHURCH IS THE PERFECT ASSEMBLY THROUGH WHICH ONE CAN MAKE HEAVEN?

Pls, these preachers should be concerned on how they can help rebuild hope back to the human race. People are thirsty to know God and not on which skirt is short/long, which hair style is carnal/spiritual. We all need to always remember the story of the pharisee and the common man that met on the altar of prayers. the one who appear "HOLIER THAN THOU" was said to returned condemned and the so call sinner left justified. So remove the beam in your own eyes first.

AND TO THE DECENT PEOPLE OUT THERE, U KNOW WHAT IS PROPER AND BEFITTING TO DO.
IF YOU ARE AMONG THOSE WHO STILL DO NOT KNOW LITTLE THING LIKE WHAT IS DECENT AND MODESTY TO PUT ON/WEAR, THEN YOU SURE ARE NOT SAVED.

The commandment of God in Deut 22:5 did not specify any particular clothe for male or female, but the principle/spirit in the commandment is that unisex clothing or clothe that makes it difficult to distinguish the sexes is an abomination to God- this is naturally decided in every cultures. The practice spoken against in Deut 22:5, has its foundation in idolatory. But the 'whites' who we copy nowadays did not have their dressing las it is today when they were still zealous after God. Unfortunately nowadays we copy the new backslidden generation of the 'whites' in our outward appearances while we like to tell them they have forsaken the faith. Why do we copy their physical appearances in their backslidden state and not the other abominations like homosexuality, and fornication, divorce etc they now believe are not wrong in their churches? Let's not be deceived we are envious about how 'sexy' they appear in their dressing and like to appear so while still desired to be called a 'believer'. God is no fools and his judgement will be so thorough and right from the heart of man.
However God does not judge from outside to inside, rather He judges from the Inside- to Outside. Jesus said to the pharisees 'you look outwardly righteous but inwardly you are ravening wolves', again 'you appear outwardly righteous to men but 'opposite' inwardly. It is easy to appear righteous outwardly while inwardly unrighteous, but it is not possible to be righteous inwardly and outwardly appear unrighteous. Out of the heart of men comes whatever is visible to men outwardly eg stealing, fornication, dressing waywardly or dressing abominably against God's commandment.
Or do you just wake up and put on a dressing without considering what to put on in ur heart? It's only mentally inbalance people and some innocent children that do like that. Your CLOTHING' is a reflection of your heart no matter what you are called- Lady Pastor, Lady evangelists, lady Bishop or prophetesses, and no matter what miracles you could perform.

In order to justify your bias, you are reading into the bible what is not there. Where in the bible is the concept of unisex clothes mentioned? In fact, was the concept of unisex clothing known when books of the old testament were written?

I notice that you place a lot of emphasis on being zealous after god. More like ignorance to me.
There are a lot of things that are forbidden in Deuteronomy and Leviticus. How many of them do you adhere to? All this fascination and faux-shock about women in trousers is an indication of the misogyny that runs deep through christianity.

@Zodiac61. There is nothing racist about dressing- many Nigerian women using trousers have justified it using the white ladies as examples. The question is why copying the white ladies in their dressing? why not copying the Indians and other cultures?
Agreed the British colonized us but does it mean we should be copying their cultures even in dressings.
As I mentioned the spirit of the dressing law in Deut 22:5 is to dress to distinguish the sexes. Whatever form of dressing that naturally evolve in any culture will satisfy this law. Circumstances around the time the law was given then was that the idol worshippers whenever they are going to worship at the shrine of their idols used to dress according to the gender of the idols e.g for a goddess every one dress like females , for a god everyone dress like males. They used this opportunity to commit all sort of immorality there- that is the historical background of the law.
The 'light' of the world which every born again christian ought to be means where this standard does not exist , we should established it and not to conform to it where it is violated. We also have dressing based on professions e.g you don't put on flowing gown to a place where u use machineries as an engineer etc.
While we are not living under the Law but under grace, we should not also be lawless as unbelievers that know not God.
If you are not a 'born again' christian, then you have no part in this issue. I do not espect u to understand spiritual matters is you are not yet born again so don't bother yourself keeping any law because by the deeds of the law no man can be justified. Salvationis by grace and grace alone.

1. Were you told in the bible what a man or a woman should wear'?
2.If you read your bible well,have you seen where the name trousers are mentioned?

It will be suprising to you to discover that skirts were attributed to men in the bible passages and gowns for men,so cant you see all men might go to hell for not conforming to the dress code.
My tke is this,lets not get ourselves so engrossed in doctrines,they are of men,instead we should focus on striving to do what pleses God,not getting worked up with what who wears

the same scriptures mentioned the use of many colours on our wears but most people will leave that and pick trouser forgeting that during the time of the isrealites when that law was given, both men and women wear garment or robes.But the robe of a man iis diff from that of the woman.It is similar today men trousers and that of women are not the same.Moreover in the days of our fatthers our men tye wrapper, so trouser for both men and women are borrowed culture which we have all come to accept so it can never be a criteria to who pleases God.

this shows absolute dogmatism! Little wonder the christians in the dark ages were termed "idiots" (which wasnt an offensive term, it only showed their level of thinking and reasoning). Jesus came to give you life and light...if you want to live your life by the over 600 laws God gave the Israelites, then you are welcome, but remember that Jesus said you will surely fail, for no one can keep all the laws and Paul further reiterated that He who lives by the law shall be judged by the law and he who lives by faith through grace? well, they are the sons of God. what more do you want to hear? simply because your Pastor who interprets his bibke based on his own level of enlightenment. has drummed the ridiculous idea into you that you must live by the law.
By the way, Jesus never wore trousers, neither did Moses...heck, the scots wear skirts, they are closer to home for following the law, and as someone earlier said, you must be mentally disturbed to tell an eskimo woman or a female field researcher to wear skirts.
Even if you were to follow that law, I would like to say that there is a huge difference between male and female pants...except you're blind and I bet you were one of those guys who insulted males for wearing skinnies cos they were as tight as "female pants".
