If this news was what truly transpired then it aligns with my thought. Atiku should relax and be among the the king makers. Nigeria is in dare need of quality leadership with intelligence, broad based vision, Bold an young. A quintessential leadership style. Imagine what you get now in a country filled with robust educated and charming population then putting Buhari in charge the result is the colossal damage. Time to think deep and i believe the search is on already! PDP should do all in its power to bring that person out. if APC have such person too it should bring him up. Its time to tell ourselves the truth Buhari can,t pass even primary 4 maths exams too, then what are saying.

Revealed: How Buhari Budgeted N39 billion for Propaganda

In a bid to launder his already battered image, President Muhammadu Buhari has allocated a whooping sum of N39 billion in the 2016 budget to the Ministry of Information and Culture, a sum higher than the paltry N29 billion allocated to the Ministry of Agriculture.

This is a direct inverse of the 2015 budget, where Former President Goodluck Jonathan allocated the sum of N23 billion to Ministry of Information and N39 billion to the Agricultural Ministry.

The meager allocation to the Agricultural ministry has left political stakeholders wondering if the present administration aims at diversifying the economy or thriving on propaganda.

Buhari had in August, 2015 stated that Nigerians must stop paying mere lip service to agriculture, as crude oil and gas exports will no longer be sufficient as the country’s major revenue earner.

“It’s time to go back to the land. We must face the reality that the petroleum we had depended on for so long will no longer suffice. We campaigned heavily on agriculture, and we are ready to assist as many want to go into agricultural ventures,’’ Buhari stated.

However investigations by Post Nigeria revealed that Buhari’s words did not match his action following the lean budgetary provision for Agriculture.

Interesting article it said Only IBB and ATIKU held the close door meeting and they were reliably informed that IBB said he should drop his ambition.

if it was only two of them there, it means one of them told you abi vanguard?

You can see Igbos are keeping calm over your stupidity. If any crook wants Igbo votes, he'll begin to align deceitfully with Ndigbo. Just watch the episodes as they unfold and stop stooling. And to you all tying Atiku to Igbos, I bind and tye you all like this:

Please show us which part of our constitution allows independent candidates.
Thanks.

The senate voted in July, 2017 to allow for independent candidates along with other changes, which were also rectified by at least two third of State Houses of Assemblies.

That amendment was sent to the President for his signature. Public records indicating if the President had signed it are scarce, but 2019 is still very much a distant.

These information are public knowledge, use google.

The old Babangida would have told Atiku whatever would make Atiku happy. I guess Babangida has got to a stage where he expects no favours from anyone-always easy to tell the bitter truth at that point. The big guns in PDP only want Atiku`s money, they know he can`t defeat Buhari, but they don`t care, as long as he is ready to spend his money.SAD!

How you guys think beat my imagination.

Tinubu might be interested in Aso Rock but you should know that a Muslim/Muslim ticket is dead on arrival just as a Christian/Christian ticket.

There is no bid Atiku would bring to the fore that would excite Tinubu whose influence ushered in Buhari.

Are there no Christian politicians in the North that Tinubu may team up with?

The point is for Tinubu to declare his interest and test his popularity!

Thunder fire IBB...mtcheewww....useless corruption master. Atiku should please pursue his constitutional rights and not listen to people who never won even a local council election in Nigeria. IBB is not a Democrat and has not earned the right to lecture anybody on democracy, he should be serving jail time for coup plotting and looting of the treasury. Nonsense. fool.

If you and Atiku believe IBB is irrelevant, why did he travel to Minna to seek his endorsement?

I said it not long back, Atiku is dead on arrival. Igbo politicians will not support Atiku because he will jettison their presidential hope in 2023, Yorubas will not vote for him because he is corrupt and wants to rule by all means and his predency will result in the north ruling for 12 continuous years. Foeget the north, nobody can touch PMB in the north central and north west. So where will his votes come from? From North East and from Igbos because of their hate for PMB?

Do the arithmetic, Atiku is dead on arrival. He should go and wait till 2031, PMB will rule till 2023 to be followed by an Igbo Presidency for 8 years, then it will be the turn of the north again. That will be in 2031, he can run then if he is still alive. He lost his golden opportunity when he backbitten OBJ. If he had been patient, he would have naturally taken over from OBJ.

[quote author=imam07 post=63087574]We the youths are the problem of this country. Why will youths, with their right senses will be thinking of voting Atiku in 2019. I can't just imagine it. I don't know what these people see that they are after him. At the moment now,all the names we are hearing now towards 2019 do not worth our vote, including Buhari. I see no one credible for 2019 election. I bliv Buhari is a better candidate than what the pdp will produce. Take for instance the npower which present is empowering half a million youth which i bliv by the end of 2019 they may get up to one million empowered youth, though not permanent job but in a way preparing youth for productivity. This is what have never happen in PDP 16 years rule. This is just one of the many
