marshman293: busy body will not let you mind your ffucking business and face your poverty stricken state. You people are so insecure you are busy wasting money on irrelevant projects---- airport , mall and a useless flyover, whereas your indigens are littered all over Anambra doing all sort of dehumanizing menial jobs. Anambra is not your mate....we have great history , culture ,civilization and knowledge that dates back to antiquity. How else did you think Anambra became so successful in every human endeavor ? Your governor should be busy investing aggressively in human capital and not building a senseless mall , bridges and airport while you are busing hoping to measure status with all mighty and powerful Anambra...nwokem , Rome was not built in a day, inugo. Go to all the Anambra villages and see the condition of your people....its sad and worth a tear but because of your inferiority complex you ignore it while chasing Ndi Anambra left and right. Oga , Anambra aburo ogbo gi...e don tey wey we see road even before Oyibo enter Africa Our educational excellence is unbeatable and Soludo just hired another 5000 teachers and you think we be your mate....we have been feeding you ungrateful bbassttards for decades yet you keep insulting us in our fathers land and you thought the land will bless a treacherous and ungrateful people like you. ANSIPPA Hosts Media Roundtable, Discusses Investment Potential and Future of Private Sector-led Development in the State June 9, 2023, Awka, Anambra State - The Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA) hosted a media roundtable today at the Agency’s Boardroom. The event, themed "Unleashing the Economic Potential: Anambra as a Prime Investment Destination," brought key media representatives together to discuss the Agency’s activities thus far and its future plans to foster economic growth in the State. Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of ANSIPPA, Mark Okoye, expressed his gratitude to the media for their role in promoting the opportunities in the State. He explained that the Agency has attracted o major projects and numerous minor projects since its inception in 2014. Okoye further unveiled the Agency’s future plan to transition into the Anambra Development and Investment Corporation (ADIC) – a full-fledged development corporation that expands ANSIPPA’s role, enabling it to undertake key phases of project development, such as conceptualization, design, bankability, structuring, and financing. "Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has highlighted three key sectors as cornerstones of his transformation agenda: technology, industrialization, and leisure and entertainment. As ANSIPPA, we are mandated to crack the financing of key development projects. ADIC will give us that legal backing we need. Now, we can prioritize projects with a huge economic and development impact for the benefit of Ndi Anambra," said Mark Okoye. He also provided insights into the Anambra Investment Summit, an event scheduled for September 7-8, 2023. The Summit will bring together key Development Partners, Development Finance Institutions, Investment Banks, Captains of Industries, Government Officials, and other stakeholders to showcase Anambra as a prime investment destination. "The investment summit will be the first of its kind. We do not plan to invest our time and resources in organizing a talk shop where people speak English and leave. At this event, we will not only launch the ADIC, but we also intend to sign about seven (7) flagship projects that align with the Soludo transformation agenda. “There is something for everyone. We will also have a start-up pitch competition where great ideas cutting across key sectors will receive seed funding for implementation. This administration is intentional about investing in our youth, and the summit will showcase that," added Mark Okoye, MD/CEO ANSIPPA. During the roundtable, prominent journalists had the opportunity to pose questions and engage in constructive discussions. The questions touched on various subjects, including the housing challenge of the State, the Onitsha River Port project, the Oseakwa port, the developing service industry, the agro-economy, and the ease of doing business in the State. To address the questions raised, the Managing Director gave details about ongoing engagements with stakeholders and potential investors to finalize some projects such as the Anambra Mixed-Use City, AUU Automotive Industrial Park, Integrated Agro-Industrial Park, the Anambra Export Emporium, Anambra Intra-City Rail project, and Solution Innovation & Technology District. He also explained that the Governor was in talks with the concessionaire for the Onitsha River Port to discuss how best to finalize the dredging of the River Niger. Mark Okoye reiterated ANSIPPA’s commitment to working with other MDAs to fulfill the transformation agenda of the Soludo-led administration. To conclude the event, the Agency promised to hold seasonal media engagements to foster a stronger relationship, especially with the official launch of the ADIC. 2 Likes

post=123690744: Without working on ease of doing business, all these media roundtable will result in a complete waste of time. There are currently too many hurdles and too many steps in establishing anything in Nigeria. All these hurdles were designed as corruption points and extortion steps to force the investor to bribe someone. It is really sad for our country. It is indeed easier to set up a business outfit in Afghanistan than anywhere in Nigeria. That is why no sane foreign investor or foreign investment ever comes the way of Nigeria. Despite its massively huge business potential compared to other countries that attract these investments. 6 Likes |

post=123690744: This Soludo administration is yet to make any significant impact 16 months after inauguration, so this young administrator mark okoye is conducting his first press conference after 12 months plus! Does the young man understand the scope of his agency? this work of attracting investors is not by carrying iPads and laptops all over the place..........this govern is way too slow for a dynamic Anambra business community! Anssipa wants to attract investors from abroad and outer space but how have they made daily life tolerable for the long suffering local Igbo investors living in Onitsha GRA,Nnewi ,and Akwa .............I have been consuming Yangalife’s expose on Anambra towns on YouTube over the past 2 weeks..................the state of Anambra cities is intolerable....Soludo is yet to understand where he is!!! there is more than sufficient investible funds in Anambra and Igbo living In Alaigbo to kick off a renaissance of socio economic development in Anambra but the government has stridently refused to invest in Nnewi especially......this is an axis with seasoned business and academic elite! Nnewi as a whole looks like a motor park , even the abode of wealthy Onitsha business men in Trans kissi, GRA and akpaka forest lack roads .......take care of the local investors and the foreign investors will follow naturally!! 6 Likes |

Obiaja: Please stop misinforming people. Anambra is a full construction site right now. A lot of road projects are ongoing in Awka and Onitsha, the good thing is that they are being constructed with walkways. Obi Okoli road leading to Club road is being dualised all the way down. Contract for dualisation of Upper Iweka to Ochanja-main market has been awarded. Ekwuluobia flyover and road expansion construction is beginning, among others. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

ANSMEDIA:Dualization of upper iweka down to ochanja roundabout is quiet very commendable. Dualization of Awka road to main market too, dualization of old road(abagana-nkpor axis), dualization of 33 road down to nkwelle, dualization of Marine road down to akpaka GRA. Dualization of Atani road. Dualization of Oguta road. 2 Likes |

ANSMEDIA: Like Obiano undertook an audacious project in the airport, Soludo needs to embark on an audacious project that will put his name amongst the greats in the state. We must send a loud message to the diaspora igbos that we are open for business. The road projects will not send an alarm and will definitely not push the agenda necessary to bring the large investments we need in the region. 4 Likes |
