Another alternative is to build a clover-leaf flyover at the junction of Airport Road at Enugu-Onitsha Expressway and extend a dual carriage Road southwards, perpendicular to Enugu-Onitsha expressway cutting Oyi, Idemmili, through Nnewi and will burst out on Onitsha-Owerri Road around Okija/Ozubulu with another clover-leaf flyover.

Very good suggestion. It will help drive traffic to the airport from that axis. Better still a light rail should be built connecting major cities in Anambra.

Maybe for starters, from Awka to Onitsha cutting through the airport. Just like in the picture below. Just after their carpark is a rail station. Nnewi, Ekwulobia etc can be linked in phases.

Anambra generally is the most organised, developed state in igbo land with 3 viable major cities of Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi. Each of these cities have high networth individuals resident in it and equally has large economic activities. Anambra is not an ordinary state like your Enugu state. Anambra international airport has been built and it is the international gateway to the eastern Nigeria.

Anambra cities of Onitsha and Awka are the fastest developing cities in Nigeria with excellent infrastructures. Anambra has the best road networks in igbo land.
