The LGBT community is not happy about their total absence from the Marvel Studios’ blockbuster movie ‘Black Panther’

It was learned that in the early stages of the production, a Vanity Fair magazine reporter claimed that a lesbian scene between Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Ayo (Florence Kasumba) was allegedly cut out from the movie.

Although Marvel Studios denied the rumors, but a studio insider confirmed to Sandra Rose that the lesbian scene was cut out because the movie targets a demographic (black people) that is intolerant of the homosexual lifestyle.

In an article titled “What About LGBT Representation in Black Panther?” which was published in the LGBT magazine, The Advocate, the movie was criticized over the lack of LGBT representation in Black Panther.

Many were hopeful for LGBTQ representation in Marvel’s Black Panther,” the outlet said. “Some suspected a lesbian romance between Danai Gurira’s Okoye and Florence Kasumba’s Ayo. However, most of their flirtatious scene was cut from the film.”

“The very few LGBTQ characters in past Marvel films have been either closeted or unmentioned,” the Advocate concluded. “It seems Black Panther won’t be breaking that mold.”

Dc and marvel have some gay, lesbian and bisexual characters. They just don't show them alot or at least most of the time.

They want to be represented in all movies.. They'll need to wait for a character of their type..
