^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.. Funny enough, you can post all the village private houses in your villages, but at the end of the day, government infrastructures remains the main signs of progress, development and economic growth into the future and if at the moment in the entire SE, this is the best project on the ground bt the supposedly the best governor in the SE, it means you have a morbid, flawed and misguided definition for the word RECOVERY. 2 Likes |

The village houses you liter NL and the internet with are byproducts and reflection of wealth, economic growth and advancements in other states, the states that your sons and daughters troop to for jobs, livelihood and survival, this is how they manage to send money back home, this is how they manage to build the village houses you litter the internet with. Poor economic growth is not recovery, it's stagnation. Inability to create job and prevent your men, women and children from leaving your towns and village for jobs and survival, paying taxes/IGR to develop other places outside their borders is not recovery, it's stagnation. The IGR and budgets in the whole of SE are the lowest in Nigeria, meaning they are poor and regressing states and it reflects in their ability to do anything on their own like funding major projects without begging and leaning on the FG to do it for them, this is not recovery, it's stagnation. Inability to generate healthy IGR and post huge budgets needed to build quality infrastructures and create jobs is not recovery, it's stagnation. 5 Likes |

Cooly100: You see that you are stupid? Go and ask Jonathan why he didn't do one FG project. Almost all the Senate president of this country were Igbos. Men of timber and calibre, decision makers. Deziani and all those who carried millions of dollars who were igbos in top offices in Nigeria. Why didn't you ask them why development has not come to igbo land. Bros, your people have their own problem and they are greedy too. They should answer your questions and not me. You had Walter ofornagoro, pius ayim, chubba okadigbo, nkonji iweala (delta ibo), diezani, Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe, Senator Ike Ekweremadu(deputy senate president), Senator Andy Uba. Etc. If these people couldn't help you with ordinary one project in the entire igboland then you should burry your head in shame. Take your frustration to your greedy leaders who joins those useless politician to be eating our money and be collecting allowance that will kill them. 3 Likes 1 Share |

LZAA: What has become of Sudan afterwards? Lol you think that is a solution? Besides, don't be daft, I said England cannot divide against itself. UK is a group of countries coming together, that can happen and that's why UK left EU. Let manchester wake up to break out of England naa. Even new Castle that has difficult ascent to southern England, let Dem break up let's see if England will leave dem. Get sense abeg! When I said countries not willing to break up, how much good has it done them? Can't you see how Egypt and Sudan are best countries in Africa? Lol |

BankeSmalls: You are daft ooo! All the product aba man makes, aren't they flooding Lagos market? Or all the China products? If you have your container cleared in ports in your region, you will not have whare house and factories in Lagos where the market is? Will you ot still spend money on logistics? The money you pay at the port will not change because u are igbo. The money you claim to pay to move your whares is the same you will make back to sell it. Even here in Lagos, there is a big market for raw materials, so if you clear from Eastern ports, you will transport back to Lagos. Any difference? And from Lagos, you get easy access to other western States if need be. Are you alright? Use your brain! 1 Like |

laribari: They love to blame and trash the FG for their own self-inflicted maladies because due to their ignorance and collective illiteracy and poor understanding of social studies and governance, their own leaders, sons, and daughters are part of the same FG and even members of the FEC where decisions are made per what projects to locate, fund and build. They even act as if their states don't collect taxes, debts and allocations. 3 Likes |

kernel504: You live in places where according to you have poor standard of living for nearly the whole year while at the same time claiming you have a better standard of living? Very unintelligent and meaningless babble. With your wonderful standard of living, why must generations after generations of ibo men, women and children live their wonderful standard of living to go peddle gala and pure water in other places? Why not just stay in their own towns and villages to peddle their gala and pure water? Where is the standard of living, sense and wisdom in giving your money in form of taxes off your migrant labor to other states to help the same other states develop their own states, build infrastructures and create more jobs at the expense of your own poor states that cannot even fund any meaningful infrastructure? Can any of your states match Ogun stated in terms of economic growth, in delivered government infrastructure? Ogun state's IGR is more than all your SE stats IGR combined? Abeg keep queit. 2 Likes |

Onitsha, World's Dirtiest City Approaching Okpoko market through thick smog on the back of an okada (motorcycle taxi), the natural reaction is to cover your nose to protect yourself from the dust storm – but the effort is futile. When a lorry zooms past, kicking up yet another red cloud of dirt, a trader turns the head of a sleeping toddler away from the road, a protective act that is as poignant as it is pointless. This is a typical day in the southern Nigerian port city of Onitsha – which last year gained notoriety when it was ranked the worst city in the world for the staggering levels of PM10 particulate matter in its air. Onitsha’s mean annual concentration was recorded at 594 micrograms per cubic metre by the World Health Organization – massively exceeding the WHO’s annual guideline limit for PM10s of 20μg/m3. PM10 refers to coarse dust particles between 10 and 2.5 micrometres in diameter, while PM2.5s are even finer and more dangerous when inhaled, settling deep in a person’s lungs. Sources of both include dust storms, gases emitted by vehicles, all types of combustion, and industrial activities such as cement manufacturing, construction, mining and smelting. Onitsha scores highly on most of the above – as do other rapidly growing Nigerian cities such as Kaduna, Aba and Umuahia, all of which also featured in the WHO’s 20 worst offenders for PM10s. In Onitsha’s very busy Okpoko market, my air quality monitor registers 140 for PM10s and 70 for PM2.5s – all way over recommended healthy levels, but still nothing compared to the readings triggered in other parts of this densely populated commercial and industrial hub. The entire vicinity of the market is perpetually dusty, as wood-sellers saw lumber into different shapes and sizes. The air here is made worse by all the fine sand particles that fly off the back of trucks as they visit one of the many dredging companies on the bank of the River Niger, just behind the wood market. https://www.theguardian.com/cities/2017/feb/13/polluted-onitsha-nigeria-perpetual-dust-city-world-worst-air ^^^^^^^^ that's what the UN said about your dirty and stinking village... 2 Likes |

Odingo1: 1. out of your 5 SE states collected FG salary bailout 2. anambra that the not collect borrowed billions instead and the same anambra is not paying full 18k minimum wage salary 3. Osun state's budget is still larger than all your SE state's individual budget 4. Osun state still delivered more projects than all your SE states combined, even more than SE/SS states combined. 5. Osun state is ahead of all your SE state in nearly all the growth indices available including losers and better poverty rate than all your SE states. 6. Osun state scored 2nd in human capitl index, ahead of all your SE sate combined. There is absolutely no positive socio-economic index or report that says any of your wretched states are better than any state or region in Nigeria 2 Likes |

There are alots of kids on this forum. Igbos and Yorubas are different peoples with sometimes different cultures, ditches or worldviews but none is inferior or superior to another. Oranges are not better than banana, there is no need to turn every thread to Igbo vs Yoruba e-war. Seun should find a way to weed tribal kids off this forum to regain its glory. nkwuocha: |
