sekundosekundo: Well, I should allow the Yoruba people to give you an answer to that one. But tell me, has the Oba of Lagos ever dumped his traditional attire for those worn by Igbo or Hausa? Has the Timi of Ede, Deji of Akure, Owa Obokun of Ijesha, Olowo of Owo, Olugbo of Ugbo, Alaafin of Oyo or Alake of Egba ever done so? Yes or No? Do you know how many Obas exist across the length and breadth of the SW? 6 Likes |

sekundosekundo: Why would I be pained? I am only pointing out to you and others like you that Ibadan and Southwest economy is not dependent on trading. If it was we would be recording low igr and fdi like the East, and the zinox boss would probably have directed his admonition at the Westerners and not you guys. Southwest economy is much more diversified. Even when it comes to trading, fast moving consumer goods wholesale, retailing and distribution is still majorly in the hands of the locals. There is nothing to be pained about bro, sorry. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

afroniger: Upon all your igr, your youths are always roaming about playing gambling. An average Igbo man don't depend on the govnt or useless igr. I know how many Yorubas that enters my shop for alms daily. The fashion you're talking about, Yorubas depend mainly on uniforms every weekend you see 1000 adults wearing the same cloths, is that what you call fashion? Abeg shift. 2 Likes |

sekundosekundo: Mr, sekun, SouthWest is not the one zinox boss, an Igbo man, is admonishing here, it is you people who had to drag Yorubas into it because of your insecurities, because last time I checked, Yoruba youths are not the ones migrating to other parts of the country for economic opportunities that are missing at home. It is obvious to all that Yorubas (especially the youth) are not really cut out for the whole trading of a thing as are most igbos. I don't see why that should be a source of anger and frustration to some of you guys. Everybody can't be a trader because some feel they can do better. I don't understand why you are pained about that. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

KanuJEWSarePIGS:You are dumb as an inebriated wasp. So this is the best you can do. A couple of isolated crimes here and there committed by some igbo criminals is why your SW is a shitthole? You want me to paint this thread with loads and loads of links featuring yorunba crimes that would make the devil shiver in hell.? Push me again and i will show you. Even on the frontpage today, we already have an incidence of yoruba ritualism. AND we get an average of two everyday on nairaland. Push me again and i will show you what you are looking for. Nitwit who dosen't know how to count his dirty teeth. |
