Gerrard59:My issue is not her getting married, but her dropping her stance and will even drop more after the marriage due to her royalty status. Do u know she will be sacrificing most things because of this marriage? Please just try to read most of Meghan's messages and u will understand what I'm trying to say. |

kingkakaone: My comment goes beyond Meghan. Although, women benefit more from marriage. It doesn't mean because someone is a female feminist, then it means she won't marry. |

TSOM: Thank you for correcting me bro on chimamanda marital status. The version of feminism in Africa makes it more derogatory to feminists out there. These disgruntled hypocrites would be dishing evil advise to block head ladies while they secretly fix their life. They leave the foolish souls frustrated while they get entangled to achieve their dream career-wise and financially. I feel pity for the likes of pocohantas, safiaa and co listening to these feminist advice. By the time they turn 30 and looking like grand ma, maybe few sense will drop into their brain. |

Shortyy: Sure but the period of which she conceived to her present pregnancy state doesn't add up. This is a pointer to her feminist fans worshipping her. Well it's life. She got d money. Congrats in advance. |

Pentools: / Ring doesn't mean a thing. There are many single ladies with rings on their fingers. An arrogant Linda will not hesitate to flaunt her fiance/husband if the dude is worth it. Whoever knocked her up has many skeletons in his cupboard. That is the public cross Linda is scared of carrying. It won't pass a married man or a divorcee. / 1 Like |

I told a friend 2 years ago that Linda Ikeji is not worth it as far as marriage is concerned. The fanatic of money yelled at me that even he will rush to marry Linda if the chance arrives. I wonder what the guy will be thinking now that he is in Dubai reading this news. He was talking like he was in Linda's shoes. Lol Its obvious she got pregnant out of wedlock. Shame unto her parents coz they can't even shout at her. She is their financial Messiah after all. This is what happens when you forgot you re an African practising an European career so proudly |

kingkakaone: What you don't know is that whether man or woman, once you are married into the royal family, you drop a lot of things. That's the way it is. Elizabeth's husband is just there, a lameduck, because he is king of the British isles If any female from the house of Windsor gets married, the man will suffer the same fate get that |

It’s either she did a secret wedding or the whole boy friend/engagement thing was to give the pregnancy a soft landing Considering the timing between the boy friend news and the stage of this pregnancy |

1) Chimamanda has never condemned a woman cooking for her husband. She has never issued a statement suggesting who should cook for the family. And you don't know the family enough to know if their home was purchased jointly. 2) Beyonce has never claimed that women should not take their husband's name. This woman sang a song titled 'single ladies' which some fanatical feminists have issues with, Chimamanda for example has issues with the song because it is makes marriage an aspiration for women. She sang the song before she was married. Beyonce has never advocated for women to leave their cheating husbands or partners. She has some songs about cheats but she is yet to state categorically that a woman must leave a cheat. 3) Do you have any idea how hard Jay Z worked on their marriage after he cheated? You should watch his interview. 4) I cannot see how Cococandy''s marital status affects her views on feminism. She is yet to state that her husband is maltreating her and that she is staying because it is expected of her as a woman. 5) A woman can stay in a bad marriage and can still identify as a feminist. It is about choices and goals. You are trying too hard to insinuate what is not there. They never claimed or said whatever you are forcing down on them. These pepole are not saying a wife should not be humble and dutiful as expected of any partner in a relationship. They are saying that the society should not treat women less like human. They are advocating for women to be independent. Learn to read and understand! I am not a fan of Chimamanda''s ideas however Beyonce has never contradicted herself and Cococandy is happy with the way her marital life is treating her. TSO.M: 4 Likes 1 Share |
