No, this is terrible. No matter the situation suicide can never be the best way out.


I have problem with this country though. We don't ever take anything serious. This isn't the first time something like this will happpen still, no surveillance to at least keep things in check.

Just look at the number of people viewing and making noise around the scene, no divers, no attempt to rescue. Everyone has given up already, they've resolved her fate is death, no rescuing attempt needed.

This alone tells you how dangerous it's living in Nigeria.

I remember a case of a young drug dealer who on trying to avade police arrest somewhere in US jumped into the occean and was almost eaten by shark but got rescued by the police.

Really?...can be for a number of other reasons....caught cheating on her husband...blackmailed by a lover...caught her husband cheating on her....sleeping with her younger sister/mom... about to be arrested by EFCC...SARS....can list a million reasons and still be wrong. I want to believe you are not married yet not to talk of having kids. See, it is not always as easy as you suggest. Children can legitimately look like their mothers without taking much trait from their father. Even children that appears to have taken some physical attributes from their supposed fathers have been found through DNA test to belong to another father. The only authoritative way to confirm a child's paternity is through DNA test. Looks can be very deceptive.
