before you toot your horn hope you know Imo state has the highest candidate cos most of them are brain dead so gaining admissions is very difficult for them so they keep rewriting and the numbers keep adding on. Don't ask me how I know, I've been to Imo state on several occasions and I've studied them. Peace

So we guess the yoruba states that got second, third and fourth are brain dead too.
More'than Zamfara that came lower

Great analysis!

Yoruba population is about 42m courtesy of the polygamy being practised among Yoruba Muslims . Igbos number 30m. I think relative to each tribe's composition, the records are encouraging.

The group I feel proudest of is Bayelsa. With less than 500,000 registered voters, they presented nearly 20,000 candidates for JAMB. The literacy level in that tiny state with very low population is out of this world
Mumu! The population of Yoruba's and igbos in the country is almost the same, quit giving yourself false hope.

Your ignorance and illiteracy stinks to high heavens. Check the number of candidates that gain admission into universities each year and tell me if Imo has not been coming tops. Also check the state with the highest number of undergraduates and graduates in the civil service and tell me if records does not prove that Imo is by far the number one state. Even literacy rates among Imo indigenes can be compared to that of advanced countries, so stop hating and continue playing your Perrin catch up game which even in the next 100 years you will never get to the level of Imo tongue embarassed tongue tongue
Go and check d Admission stats for each year, imo state has one of the least percentage for admission rates.

We need to get rid of this state of origin shiii, they should introduce state of residence.

It's not by state of residence, but state of origin.

It is not about states, but the population of both region which of course is at par with each other. D point is that Yoruba get more admitted into higher institutions every year more than igbos. Even if another state is created for igbos it will be created from the already existing states.

Add all the figures from northern states and you will be ashamed of yourself. As overpopulated as the west and north is(as a result of child birth without control, which is a characteristic of illiteracy) ,an Eastern state still top them in any academics related issues, that should be enough reason for you to accept the fact that you're all sophisticated mor.ons indeed.

I tot u always claim to ve the highest population in Nigeria. Meanwhile northern states are divided into three regions just like southern states. U always seems to put them all as one even with the middlebelt..

The North hold no hope for true leadership. Ineffective education breeds ineffective policies.

It's time to take it back from the northern cabals. Fear yorubas too though, they have always colluded with northerner to rip this country. I wonder what their gain is?

Just because of 2015. Check history and see those that have bin colluding with northerner...

YOU HAVE A VERY POOR KNOWLEDGE OF HISTORY JUST LIKE YOUR OTHER IGBO BROTHERS.

you are surely pained about 2015 election realignment.IGBO has always been hausa/Fulani Ally in politics since 1959 why Yoruba land is know has hot bed to you both useless government

The northern bigots and the Yoruba asslickers must face judgement, no doubt. People are dying and another section is starving, and the only facade u hold on to is some dirty knowledge of history that belong to the trash can of oblivion.

Right now Yorubas and Hausa's are our problem, and it's glaring before our eyes.
