You can't get the aid through the app as the option isn't there. Goto the webpage, browse to your course of choice & you will see apply for financial aid.

Coursera will make you a great programmer. The cert is accepted world wide. That's what my friend's friend is using. That's what he used to get employed.

The moment it gets approved, it's free — the course is free. If you're a big man and love paying for everything, then you can ignore the aid and take the bull by the horn.
