It means nothing for a baby mama to be calling herself Mrs. [insert baby daddy's name/last name here] when they're not married? I don't know anyone who's dumb enough to be doing such. It's like Sophia Momodu calling herself Mrs. Adeleke or Mrs. Davido when we all know they've both moved on. She would either be mentally unstable at that point or has suddenly become infatuated with Davido, but I think she has sense to not embarrass herself like that.

I'm guessing this must be an allusion to your own baby mama situation: "a lady has your baby but she's not your type of woman". When you were sleeping with her, it didn't occur to you that she isn't your type of woman, but it's after knocking her up that you've suddenly come to that realization, abi?

What would say about Bisi Ibidapo Obe naming her child Destiny Melaye, when we all know clearly Dino didn't father that baby?

Don't be the reason the little boy would miss having both parents in his life. Here is it, he might not be married to the lady, but it would be hard for him to plan a future outside this. Whether you believe it or not, the baby mama doesn't have a relationship because she's still hoping one day they would get married. And here, they might still be having sex for God sake and na belle you go see next. Pack your bags and go. You sound like a very good person

Hello Op, I registered because I couldn't comment here as a guest and I needed to tell you few things. Your story sounded like my fiance's . He has baby mama he was attracted to, he caters to everything they concerns her and even sleeps there just to 'connect' with his daughter. It was annoying as it caused a lot of rift in our relationship. I gave my rules, strict rules even. "I'm not asking you to severe ties with your baby mama, but dude I'm in your life now so accord me maximum respect. It is disrespectful to the love we share if you still go to events with your baby mama, sleep at her place, etc. Do you even have a future for us?". Well he listened because he loves me, he adjusted, he doesn't want to lose me. I have even met the lady one time.
In your case, I don't know if you've talked about this yet and how he is taking it. But trust me If he truly loves and respect you, he would be sober and make amends. This is only if he's not married o.

Good day nairalanders, I just need to be convinced more that I'm either walking a danger lane or not.
My boyfriend has a child which I'm aware about and he claims never to have been married to the baby mama. He visits the child every week and even pay her rent but it doesn't bother me but lately I had this feeling to probe further. I searched and found pictures of him, the lady and the son together at different events and occasions. I searched more and found the said lady goes by the name MRS lagbaja (my boyfriends name).
From the look of things, he lives a bachelor life here and lives a family life there.

I've not confronted him as I need to be sure I'm not just being paranoid.
I am a very independent woman and this scares me because I don't want to build anything with someone else's 'property'.. Please I need matured input, thank you
Your bf is a married family man.

Young guys don't bear such sonorous names like LAGBAJA.

don't bother to probe further because that name gave him away as a married man. Imagine the first day he met you and he told you that's his name, Will you take him serious?

I'm not Yoruba but that name sounds old and married

He's married.

I have a lady friend, whose bf lives a single bachelor life in lekki but has a wife and three kids in Ibadan.
She got to know later. They broke sha, due to revelations her pastor gave to her that if his wife finds out, her life will be in danger, so she better cut off.. And she did. Even when her bf was still insisting his wife will not do anything and above all who would even tell her in Ibadan. So u see? Be careful when it comes to lies men tell just to have u for a period of time.

Why didn't kuku marry his baby mama? If what you wrote here is true especially the highlighted portion, then your man is complex. I'm sorry about my opinion.
