What you are talking is trash. If you dont want igbo presidency, there are people, igbo politicians who need it. Dont use your rubbish reggae spoil their blues. With this your mindset and senseless politics of hate nobody will want to associate with igbos
who and who are the Igbo politicians who need it?

What do they need it for? What have any of them done in their small capacity wherever they are? Who have they helped?

This your senseless mentality of kissing assss so that they can love you is the reason why Igbos can never have any President, because you are willing to sell your sense of self and dignity for people that can barely stand the sight of you, does not mean most of the Igbo race will do same.

Keep kissing asssss, Igbo people don't need the Presidency of a wretched nation. Presidency has never helped any other region of Nigeria. By any index, the South East still trumps other regions even without Presidency. That position is cursed, because the region that has had it the most is the most impoverished one.

YOU CLAIM TO BE LITERATE BUT WITH YOUR REASONS ILLITERATE THINK BETTER THAN YOU MOREOVER IGBOS ARE NOT EVEN THINKING OF BECOMING PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA WHAT MOST AVERAGE IGBOS WANT IS GOOD GOVERNANCE FOR ALL OR BIAFRA.

Questions for the Op :
Which region have the highest suitable developed housing for human to live?
Which region is the highest rate of poverty and illiterates in Nigeria?
Which region that don't value their young ones (almajiria)?
Which region that have the highest rate of religious conflicts ?
Which region have the highest numbers of world figures?
Finally which region that have produced the highest numbers of Presidents/ military dictators?

A wiseman will say if been a President of a country like Nigeria but your region still remain in comatose , is better to have restructured country than be a failed President.
Op in live any action have advantages and disadvantages but the action that have the highest advantages at the long run is for a wiseman to chose.
Waiting for your reply;

YES you are right about the region but this region knows politics than any other region which gives them advantage. They support themselves politically which gives them their gain.
Why was it that not all Igbos support ojukwu when he contested for presidential election.
In Igbo land they are are more divisions among them than anything which is the reason why are failng politically.
Winning election is not by mouth or wishes but by numbers.
So the north knows what it takes to produce president but the East does not, rather they are used to abusing other regions that can help them make their dream come true..
So if there is no change of attitude the opportunity to produce the next president will continue to elude them..

The question should have been what has Ndigbos benefited from PDP since over 16 yrs of followership?

I really don't understand some of you. an't you support a plitial party and their candidates in peace? Why must you involve on in your political partisanship. Yes, the Igbos were neither given the presidency or vice-presidency under the PDP and that is because there is a deliberate interest to keep Igbos down politically and it is not a party issue. Having said that, under PDP, we had the Senate presidency, an Inspector general of Police, The head of Army etc. Tell me what this APC Buhari government have done for Igbos that gives you the inclination that they would support an Igbo president in 2023. if you believe that Buhari will hand over to an Igbo man in 2023, then you are not as smart as you may think.

The senate presidency was there for the taking, but igbos are the only region in Nigeria that did not produce an APC senator, is it the fault of APC that Igbos dont have senator from their party? PDP gave igbos IGP in 2009 10 years after it gained power in 1999, 2012 was when igbos got chief of army staff from PDP 13 years after it took power despite our illustrious Alex Ekwueme being one of the main founders. APC is just 3 years in power and you want everything despite showing every disdain in your books towards them?

Just know that you can only brainwash your kind.

How does Igbo presidency benefit an Igbo man in the market?

Igbos are not interested in any presidency stop spreading rubbish.

Politicians do not care for the man in the market just themselves and families.

You can continue to collect 30k and post rubbish online.

Your future generation will pay for your foolishness
Continue shouting 30k and exposing your intelligence to the world but don't come here and cry tomorrow about how other Nigerians deny the Igbos a chance at the presidency

At this juncture if you think Yoruba's support buhari or saraki you must be joking, buhari is known to be a slow poke and saraki is not fit to be president he places self interest over peoples' interest who does that. Believe me 2019 election would fall favour either atiku or sawore, I don't trust atiku but I trust his agenda, sawore?? I don't know what to say about him I hope he won't turn out like them if he eventually had the opportunity

op made a great deal of sense. the fact that Igbo's are slavishly following PDP is what is making them suffer, Yoruba's don't have a standard pattern of voting and we do not cover our eyes with sentiment and bitterness, the Igbo nation always talk about themselves, they never care to bargain and they are not dynamic. pdp didn't offer anything to the Igbo's during their 16 year rule, not even VP because they know that Igbos will vote for PDP come what may, the race to convince the south east to vote is not tight,APC has realized that winning the south west, north west and east and some states in north central is enough for them to win the election. Igbo's may never produce a Nigerian president if they do not stop slavishly following pdp

His epic gaffe yesterday has reduced his chances in the eyes of sensible Nigerians. I was almost excited about him until he was brutally disgraced, y'all better find someone else.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results - Einstein

I made similar post yesterday but as usual many Igbos do not agree with me.

ObaIgwe1:

In terms of voters contribution, Akwa Ibom and Delta gave more to PDP than the entire S.E and if you add other S.S. states, then Igbo contribution to PDP becomes less significant which now gives candidates from S.S. more right to presidency than S.E. candidates. It is same reason NW candidates always get the presidency in the north, cos they are more than any other region in the North.

How many states is PDP controlling in SE? 3 compare to 5 from South South.

It will be a pipe dream for Igbos to expect presidency on the platter of just being Igbo.

Igbos dont just have the numbers to effect any serious change or control except they build real alliances.

Unfortunately instead of building alliances they are creating more enmity by the day...

And who told OP that Igbos are mad about Nigerian Presidency? Igbos don't need to be President to flourish. All Igbos need is fair playing ground and the right to dictate our development pace. If OP knew where Igbos found themselves economically after the civil war he/she would know that we are not a tribe to be intimidated. Allow is to utilize our resources and strenghts, then you would know we don't need your presidency to realise our dream as a region

You cant get sovereignty or at least restructuring without playing the national game. If igbos had gotten the Senate presidency in 2015 at least we would have had someone to front what we want for us. But in 2015, southeast was the only region that did not produce Senators from the 2 majors political parties.

It is interesting and vital to note here that the PDP which many of us still proudly support and adore was in power for 16 solid years and in those years there were 4 Presidential Inaugurations and on none of those was an Igbo man found worthy by the PDP of even Vice Presidency and we are still bold to say it is the APC that has not even finished one tenure that doesn't want to give power to Igbos. Odi nma.

I don't have anything to say, read the above.

Of course. Maybe you can tell us why we have very few Igbos in Buhari's cabinet. I don't care if you guys suport Buhari but don't try to play with our sensibilities. We are no fools. The last thing Buhari will do in this world is to hand over to an Igbo man. PDP are no saint either but atleast they've trusted on with some positions that were denied us in the past.

Moghalu just like sowore is contesting based on qualifications and his intentions to make a difference. Not because of the need for an Igbo presidency.

For moghalu, sowore and even durotoye, it’s not an ethnic mandate

I do not see the logistics behind this right up so am just having problems contributing logically to the write up. The only two things apparent to me (let me not say logical in the write up) is: the OP is APC and he is embitered. But why? Why are u so embitered?
