U shd go to spot and try to gist with nearby shop owners or Watchmen at compound near where u found it as to u heard from someone that some person lost money in street if owner knows about it he or she will definitely carry gist forward by giving detail.but in no circumstances u mention that u have found money. If this thing doesnt work keep the money invest in your business and grow it consider it as blessing in black nylon But atleast try to find owner once again last time. U restored my faith in nija |

All of the comments here, seem to point to the fact that op is left with no option. I dont think thats entirely the case tho. Op you could walk down to a radio/Tv station..whichever is nearest to you, and ask that they mention it on air ( like they do with missing kids )..and state where and when the said amount was found. I wanna believe someone who knows someone who knows the owner of the money may be listening/Watching at that time. Now when uv done this..and the owner isnt forthcoming, then maybe you could explore the options mentioned here.. 14 Likes 1 Share |

If the money has the band of a bank, you can contact the bank if they can track anyone that withdrew that amount. Don’t bother giving it to the police, they’re gon share it. 2 Likes |

Op do not go to that same spot again before them label u thief, kidnapper or ritualist.. Don't say u were not warned.. Either u turn the money over to the nearest NPF station (which they will gladly share amongst themselves) at least u go reduce the red eye for junction that day. Or use the money to do what's really pressing right now. U say u need money & u saw money that has refused to leave u then u come here to ask what to do I don't really know how God works but don't u think someone higher knows u need the money? Well if ur still scared send me 20% & i will pray for u b4 u start spending it Abeg spend ur money joor 5 Likes |

Bimzybae: op, go to Royal FM tell them you found certain amount dont disclose the actual amount and dont take the money with you. Drop your phone number with them in case some one come forward to claim the money, they should call you. After waiting for a while and no one show up , kindly do the following : * take out of the money to support ur biz + buy food stuffs or cartons of indomie for the orphanage home close to you. * keep ur mouth shut abt d money * do not give any part of d money to church ooooooo ***************************** similar thing happened to me like two months now. At the close of work, i was on my way home tracking along Ahmadu Bello way, opp Bubbles 007 and KWIRS on the walk way , i found 7 pieces of 1000 note . Before i picked it up, ummmhhhh i have to summon courage. I quickly made a cross sign and then i picked the money. I really felt sad for the owner of the lost money. Several thoughts criss crossing my mind on what to do with the money. I beckoned on a recharge card vendor well known to me who is like five steps from the point i found the money to hold the money in case the owner comes looking for the money. People of Nairaland, up till today the card vendor has not return the money nor claim to have given the money back to the owner. I will give the card vendor till next year to flex with the money. By next year, i will descend on him to retrieve the money through the help of my uniform friends. The card vendor does not know that i dont joke with MONEY & WOMEN This is the first time in my life that i will ever come across such amount on the road, 4 Likes |

My guy this might be blessing oh.. don't dull. Do you even know if the money was stolen by a slaymama and she misplaced it. My advice, take the cash to your bank and deposit it, then withdraw from your ATM. Send me 10k and keep the rest. PM me. |
