Sharpshooota: Are you saying it was conclusive with a victory margin of 350 and cancelled votes of over 3000, then INEC suddenly rewrote the electoral laws overnight? What manner of educated idiots populate this country? The rule is sacrosanct and would not be cast away to make you feel better. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Built2last: Simple Majority of votes cast when the cancelled votes is not more than the winning margin.... in this case the winning margin is just 353 while the cancelled votes is more than 3,000 3 Likes 2 Shares |

vedaxcool: In a state in which APC enjoys power of incumbency both at the state and FG level, yet they could 'lose' based on the number of valid votes, it's a big shame. Go and hide ur head in shame. 4 Likes 1 Share |

This is the normal thing that would have happened. APC and PDP have approximately the same percentage of popularity. So who has the majority? If SDP didn't field omisore, maybe pdp would have won, but things worked out well for APC. APC, inec and the presidency have allowed credible elections because that was what brought this government into power. Any Nigerian shouting and wailing is just being sentimental and doesn't have the true spirit needed to change this nation. The days of sentiments need to get off. Let's vote for credibility. Who can do the job? Adeleke or Oyetola? That's the question. 4 Likes 1 Share |

being neutral here....Apc have work to do to win.. 2 local governments in ife are affected, and ife is majorly pdp if not for omisore that took a chunk of their votes, and I don't see ife people voting for apc in an election between apc and pdp.. can see apc winning the cancel units in osogbo though, even then that one will be close.. who knows shaa 2 Likes |

You are not fair with your judgement. Voters are now more aware of their power. They now vote base on performance. Fayose performance was poor, hence his exit, even though it was rigged but he gave that opportunity to d opposition. Likewise Aregbesola. He performed poorly, hence this impending exit. vedaxcool: 1 Like |
