madridguy: I was so tired and needed to journey back to Ogun. I slept around 2.30 am this morning and woke up by about 4.40am which is my normal waking hours daily and my eyes were feeling sandy from lack of sleep so I slept some more and then embarked on my trip back to my base. I knew the election was going to be very tight and I warned someone who was already celebrating an APC win to chill for a while. However it would still be an APC win come September 27. We will keep winning legally unlike the illegal ways PDP have employed all these years 3 Likes 1 Share |

I hope you're fine now. As for me I'm having partial headache right now for lack of sleep monitoring the whole process online. I intended to sleep thinking the Inec will give us the trophy on time until will started waiting for Oshogbo result. I couldn't prepare food, I cannot eat Infact APC should look for way to compensate me for this. Bless Jah we are going on extra time. Butterflyleo: |

Adeleke won this election. It's obvious APC has vowed never to lose Osun to opposition. They will finally actualize their aim but PDP will reclaim it at the Supreme Court. 1 Like 1 Share |

madridguy:As for me,i slept around 4am.but am disappointed at aregbe and akande for not wining their areas wella.also, apc should have given ede lgas close marking plus churning out big margins in osogbo-olorunda.all this wouldnt have happened. The way out now is for apc to identify many of those 3400 voters, ferry them to an undisclosed location till thursday and bring them to the polling units when its time for the supplementaries. |

Re: Adeleke, Oyetola To Battle In Re-run Election by Butterflyleo: 3:58pm On Sep 23, 2018 |
madridguy: Sorry about that. This was an acid test for APC and we just barely scrapped through and it was all due to the issue of unpaid salaries. However, it was also due to the massive vote buying by PDP agents as so many were arrested with loads of cash on them. The extra time is just a postponed win for Oyetola. An educated good governance must come to Ogun and not a school dropout dance governance. I am feeling well now thanks for asking. God is good |

Butterflyleo:This election portends a bad sign as we approach the 2019 polls.the apc agents should have challenged the results of many of the lgas they lost.i suspect that saraki has a big hand in what happened today |

How Will the run off election go? Is it only going to be held in the polling units that has it election cancelled. If that is the case it means only about 10000 votes from those units will determine this election. I beg them go deploy helicopter go that place!!!! ;Dl |

Good observation from you. Someone from this forum made a comment which I reason with. He said the people of Oshogbo central are not pleased with the APC candidate because he's from Iragbiji. senatordave1: 2 Likes |

I hope warning will be sent to Yahyah Bello and others. People are now wise unlike before. Mind you, can APC press charges over the vote buying with the arrested culprits? Butterflyleo: |
Re: Adeleke, Oyetola To Battle In Re-run Election by Nobody: 4:05pm On Sep 23, 2018 |
APC: If we cannot use Osogbo to declare victory, we might as well use it to declare a stalemate. He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day. PDP: Yeye dey smell! Bring it on, we are waiting for you. Your Jagabantis won't save you now. It takes a thief to catch another, we sabi ourselves no be now. 1 Like |

senatordave1: You have a point about challenging the results in some areas but regarding 2019, there is no bad sign about that. This was simply an in house election for Yoruba's and by yorubas so it was expected to go this way . 2019 is a whole different ball game. I know both parties are taking notes now on what to do and I know that those in APC are much better at implementing the notes taken because we stood firm despite the inadequacies and weakness Aregbe gave us 1 Like 1 Share |

Sharpshooota: Those who watched Osun State election results announcement live know PDP won fair and square. APC panicked seriously the moment they realised they could not overcome Adeleke’s lead and started looking for any means to rig the results announced. If Aregbesola were a true democrat he should have congratulated Adeleke by now. We were waiting for INEC to announce Adeleke the winner but after two hours of waiting we knew something bad was happening. 1 Like 2 Shares |

madridguy: Regarding the vote buying, yes charges can be pressed and results contested in the areas such PDP agents were apprehended. Yahaya bello has been warned already before now. I can authoritatively tell you this. This was why PMB ordered a probe on him recently |
