OBJ was a head of state and a two-term president, he also served as chairman of ALL PAST WORLD PRESIDENTS....
He has influence in African Union and ECOWAS. During Boko Haram early beginning, he alone visited the relative of the leader of BH. OBJ is has influence across vertically and horizontally. Outside politics, Tinubu has no influence.

Don't say what you don't know. Was he the only former president? You say Tinubu has been in politics for over 30 years, where was he when Obasanjo was the head of state of Nigeria.

Tinubu has everything. OBJ couldn't have made anyone to win an election without rigging. He's out of office now, I can't remember anyone he's been able to give power in any state. Tinubu might not be an ex-president, but he's more relevant than OBJ.

Osun people voted PDP because of the influence of the Adeleke family name. Osun People always appreciate their philanthropic gestures. If Adeleke had been the flag bear for the APC in the election, the results would have been like 90% for APC.
