My concern with an Atiku/Peter Obi ticket as I must have said it earlier, is that, since the APC and BMC can not fault that ticket on its competency, it’s commitment to lift a recession-plagued-Nigeria out of the doldrums of economic stagnancy, or corruption— as corruption basically points its fingers at Buhari— they would try the tried and test imperialist divide and rule tactic. Demonise the Igbos, then make Atiku look like an Igbo ticket and then attempt to pith the Igbos against the rest of Nigerians.

And I think the Tope kid in BMC is controlling these things.

He first tried putting it as an Igbo vs Yoruba ticket. That didn’t work. He then tried to create division within the ranks of the Igbos— claiming that Anambra is treating others as second-class Igbos. That didn’t work.

They’ve tried this latests tactic— bringing out those pictures of Nnamdi Kanu which the Army recovered when they stormed his house in Umuahia and then framing it as if he is alive. The aim is to make Atiku look like a “Biafran ticket” and then try to excite the emotions of Nigerians.

But this isn’t even working as it seems Nigerians are wiser.

Or the economic reality of Nigeria has stung Nigerians to the point where they think with their brains and not their emotions.

So this will fail too. For two reasons. First, strategically it is too early to bring these recovered pictures out. It would loose steam after a week or two.
