It's time guys start respecting girls. Let her no be no. And the girls should learn to stop putting themselves in such situations.

Respect is earned and not imposed. Until our women start showing that they have respect for themselves, men will not respect them. You know what I'm talking about.

What took her there in the first place?

You can't go to such places and expect not to be touched carelessly

More especially if you came alone but if she had come with her boyfriend, such wouldn't occur

In a pool party anything can happen
Na people like you consoles me when I start thinking Nigeria is filled with 95% fools and dummies.
Who goes to such event by herself, in bikini, in the pool and not expect such to happen?!?! if she were my sister I'll bitchslap her if she complained about that. Why put yourself in such situation and later cry murder? yes the guy is stupid for his actions ( which wasn't defined here anyways) was he groping her or something we don't know what the "sexual harassment" was. Worst is she continued ranting after the guy left? trying to mess the fun up for everybody of course the hotel ought to kick her fvcking asss out ASAP. hotel is business, you don't come there to mess it up.
There are ways to handle situations, if she had calmly and respectfully left the space where that guy was fast away from his hands and continue having her fun it would be good but raining insults on the drunk idiot wasn't the brightest idea, what if he was so drunk and picked a bottle to test how strong her skull is? People should be very careful.
Well its a fact that most Nigerians are stupiddd, dumb, lack critical thinking ability.
Example thinking the cannvite in Atiku & Obi and things will get better. The country and its occupants are jokers.

Of course, I find the fact you as a lady lack common sense as regards self preservation and dignity pathetic.

Happy partying in pools with bikini and crying blue murder when irresponsible gutter men manhandle you.

Hopefully, your body is still useful and useable when it is time to get married.

Your posts reek of the "pick me syndrome " . Yuck!

Anyway, since you are clearly ignorant or living in denial, let me state again. Even if a woman is an escort, you are not allowed to touch her without her consent.

Madam dignity, every woman should dress how they please.

Speaking of a lady's dressing leading to sexual harassment, I have experienced men, especially in markets hold me and touch me without my consent. Mind you, I don't wear a bikini to the market. I am always decently covered. Yet! These men do these things shamelessly. If you are a girl in Nigeria, you'll be familiar with this.

And when you complain they rain insults on you. " I have your type at home", "you should be happy I'm touching you", "you are not even that fine sef", " man never Bleep you before? Why you come dey do like good girl? " ,these are the things they utter shamelessly when you try to defend yourself.

You might say that they're market men but you must be a fool not to notice the similarities between the market men and the guys on this thread.

Jeez!! Why am I explaining this?

Hanty you are dumb as f*ck for trying to justify this madness.

You are right.

Most of the kids (mentally and agewise) here do not understand reality.

I am however sure that their parents would frown at them going for random pool parties.

Thanks

Your post clearly tells me a lot about you.

When market men drag you, are they trying to 'sex.ually harass' you or are they soliciting their goods in a crude manner?

I am sorry I don't do gutter neither do I do ghetto.

Go back home for re-training.

Bukatyne and I never encouraged sexual harassment or rape but the fact that you have a juvenile and sentimental brain won't allow you to see things from a bigger view.

She was eventually kicked out of the hotel, in just her bikini, to stop her from disturbing others
This is the reason she was chased out not an imaginary attempted rape tale.
Women go for fun occasions and events and rather than sitting down to enjoy the fun, choose instead to spoil it for both themselves and every other person.

Exactly, she called for it. its better that only gay pool parties be organised where only men can harass each other. What do you say?

This is Nigeria not USA so those thoughts of lawsuits blabla...

Irresponsibility begets irresponsibility

Exactly, women should never go anywhere where they might potentially be sexually harassed and beaten e.g. Hotels, Banks, Churches, Mosques, Market places, Beach, Public Transport, private transport, trekking, even their homes sef women can be sexually harassed by relatives or technicians called to work in the house.

Your solution is equals to women should not exist. Woman-hater spotted.

Not all men are gay, and I condemn in the strongest term, any act of harassment, not just sexual. But saying she called for it, is just stating the obvious.

Dear, dnt mind dat lady. D prblm of you Nigerian ladies is dat you pple prepare yourselves for marriage instead of survival. The day you pple start beating des men, dat wld be d day des finz will stop. Look at dem justifying touching sbdy against her will as if "free to group" was among d activities of d day. Train your self self defence before home economics. Nigerian men are psychos (nt all dou). See dat guy slapping d girl as if he owns her body or she asked or allowed him to touch. There is nufn dat wld gv him dis effrontery if not dat he knws "girls can't do nufn" nd true to dat, she didn't! More so, d securities cldnt do anyfn let alone d other gals who probably wld be judging as d others here. I like her courage shaa.

Yes it's her fault she was touched, after all, why did she go to a pool party, why did she dare wear a bikini at a pool party,

Next time she should wear a burka, lock the doors and windows of her house and dare not step out of her house.

Look at them defending sexual harassment and violence against a woman.

No wonder those useless Nigerian men are very comfortable behaving like animals.
They know there are people like this who will cover for their madness by making inane comments asking why did she go there?. Why did she wear that? what was she expecting?
Nonsense.

Silly question. Is everyone from my religion. So I should say because my religion says this or that then everyone must abide by it. Even Islam does not permit men to expose anything from their knees to their navel but I bet you the man who beat her and harassed her was wearing short swimming trunk, yet none of you hypocrites will say anything. Nonsense and ingredients.

That is why you men need to also start talking and criticizing each other openly instead of always cautioning women. I as a woman don't got around harassing women, so whether she do like this or like that, nothing concern me. Learn to stop harassing women.
