The crippled bigot was the ONLY major personality who made a derogatory remark against the man . Even ojukwu, a more major player in the civil war conflict showed enough grace and class not to denigrate a dead man. 25 years after, this patently bitter and bigoted man still went on to write a most asinine book making caustic reference to Awo and " his Yoruba people" against his so called "dominant ibos" Shows the extent of bile in the stomach of this ugly mofo .. Achebes highest educational qualification was the degree in English language he received from the heart of Yorubaland .without which he would have amounted to nothing but a primary school teacher in ogidi. So let the ibo biafran carry his crippled corpse and bury him in the evil forest like okonkwo his grandfather. You are also absolutely correct that he doesn't owe yorubas any farthen, just like Awo did not owe biafrans any farthen by taking the most pragmatic decisions to end the Nigerian civil war quickly and bring your silly little republic to it's knees. hardbody: I was actually trying to book my flight against Easter trip to the east, now I am scared, I may either go by road, or completely skip this Easter a beg. Which reminds me, I drove to Ojo Alaba today and I realized that all these talk about eko o nibaje is rubbish, I spent a cumulative 6 hours to and from barracks and I regret every minute and hour I spent on that road with near misses by other road users.....in that case, just bloody stay in the east when you go to your red earth village for Easter.one less tout to worry about. |

In the first place what is an ibo woman doing in the Lagos state civil service ? Are all bonafide lagosians fully employed already? The ibo state of abia has recently sent fellow ibos not from the state packing from it's civil service without any qualms, Henceforth no ibo should be employed in Lagos except there are no qualified indigenes (which is impossible anyway) fashola should stop this nonsense. No ibo state will employ a Yoruba or any non ibo for that matter into it's civil service. |
