Is it not funny that many things religious people condemn today were only condemed after secular laws were made stopping this. Eg killing people because of beliefs, slavery, discrimination, etc.

If the laws of God has changed to fit our current society, then society guides religious teaching and not the other way round.

I will not oblige you with an informed dialogue as its totally unnecessary from my point of view. You believe in evolution right? So lets say Christianity has evolved from Yesterday to today so same way man is seen as the Pinnacle of evolution so is the new Testament and the revelation of Christ... We are at the pinnacle of Christianity today so if you refuse to see today as we are and rather opt for yesterday when technology never ever existed as it does today then i wonder who is ancient and who i modern.

Like i said my response or yours does not alter my opinion and i am so sure it would not alter yours so declare and believe what you wish.

You seem not to understand my question. You were quick to jump on a self assumption that his thread was a counter to the inconsequential hardmirrors thread which is absolutely ridiculous. Its like saying my thread on how i encountered God and became an evangelist is also a counter to that thread and i asked you a simple question.

If the OP had titled this thread "From Christian to Atheist ...my story" would you have said he was never a Christian?

You just jumpt and speak for the sake of being heard. If to you he was not an Atheist how does that change his testimony? If he had said he was a Christian who became an Atheist would you have said he was never a Christian?

You are muddling this all up.

Being described as a Christian does not mean you are not a Son. Sonship is your identity but Christianity is your description. You can be a Son to your father yet you do not act or think like your father.

Spiritually speaking, for you to be called a Son you must have proof of your Sonship which is the Spirit of Christ and the Fruits (manifestation). This then makes you like Christ but also a Son. Both are the same thing.

The life of Christ by His spirit is your seal of Sonship otherwise anyone would claim to be a Son of God via pretense.

Unbelievers called them Christians based on the knowledge they had of Christ and they knew that these ones were JUST LIKE CHRIST...is there a greater description or a greater approval from the world than this?

We don't have a full understanding of consciousness but we know that out is 'stored' in the cerebral cortex so what evidence do you have that it isn't physical? Why do fill the gaps that scientific ignorance leaves with God? It shows how shaky the theory of your belief is.

Consciousness is NOT stored in any cerebral cortex. If it was, scientists or biologists would have identified it. So stop floundering.

Atheists fail to realise that all Science does is prove that there is a higher power at play here. I say this because if scientists will make use of a multi million dollar science equipment and still end up further consulting fellow scientists before and still taking 20 or more years to explain why an ant excretes certain chemicals when agitated or how they are able to differentiate between sugar and salt particles then does this not show you that evolution is a joke?

If evolution was a crude process then how come it suddenly became more intelligent and complex than science imagines and takes science decades to explain just one thing?

NATURE IS A SCHOOL AND SCIENTISTS ARE ITS STUDENTS AND NOT ITS TEACHERS!

Biocentrics is not a branch of science. It's a hypothesis by a medical doctor (not a real scientist) for which I can find no evidence.

Scientists have learnt a lot about consciousness. We've learnt how various chemicals and parts of the brain affect our conscious feelings, etc. That's why we now have effective treatments for depression, schizophrenia, etc. What we don't understand is self-awareness specifically. What makes us different from robots? What makes us feel that we are "real" while a computer program is just code no matter how smart it is? The point is that there is always something that science can't explain, but you can't say "therefore God" because science may figure it out tomorrow.

If you have no evidence of Biocentrism let me help you with this evidence.
