perhaps amber ella's husband doesnt even know better.
Its funny how he says Nigerian's have experienced overt racism.

The vast majority of Nigerians who spent their formative yrs in Nigeria only read about racism in books and never experienced it until they came here.

Amber, if you had so great a marriage you wont be here whinning. It baffles me when i see people posting here while claiming to have oh so wonderful a family. Have you got nothing better to do with them than to come snivelling on a forum?

Gotta agree.
Wait until you are mature enough to agree.

j-girl:
age is just what number? angry
A lady of 21 dating a guy of 21 is doomed if she marries him because he will never grow up to her level in the marriage except he's blessed with the rare gift of maturity.
However, if a lady of 21 is dating a guy of 24, then she's marrying someone she can connect with who is not as juvenile as the men her age.
When it comes to men - age is no number. It's a measurement of maturity in MOST cases.
What a load of tosh.
RomanceRe: A Wife Referring To Her Husband As "my Lord" by 4Him1(m): 1:48am On Jun 17, 2008
my Lord?  shocked I guess different strokes for different folks, sounds a bit strange though. I dont feel too comfortable when a woman behaves like your servant.

iseobio:
how can you love on empty stomach or non appetizing food? Life is not static but is evolving, but most women are too conservative to move with the times. that is why the times overtake them. Women should try to change from wearing wrapper for example to wearing minis. Instead of saying "I wasn't brought up that way or am too old for that". Ageing is in the mind. Women, please have a young heart as the men and things will work out fine.
O boy stop am. I used to be a firm hater of wrapper-wearing women until i spied my ex wearing it one early morning i popped in unannounced . . . she looked so stunning in it that i spent a good 2 mins standing at the door staring.

Of course u expect your chic to be polished and all that but we place just too many unrealistic demands on women that u begin to wonder . . . marriage isnt only about us all the time u know.

Its good to expect a woman to change, the sad thing is even if they change 100% it wont be enough if we are still hell bent on chasing "fresh meat".  grin

Seun:
She may not have supported him emotionally during the time she was staying with him. And she may not have contributed anything tangible to the business that generated the wealth. She might have done nothing more than complain all day and take care of the babies. The only money she deserves in that case is the amount of money it would have taken to hire house helps to do everything she was doing for the man!
i dont agree. A woman's role in a family is easy to overlook UNTIL she is no more there. That is when you realise you never learnt how to properly turn on the gas and change diapers, that your bedsheets did not wash themselves, your socks do not fall from heaven, ur clothes were not mended by a secret tailor, the kids didnt learn their times tables on their own . . .

Its easy to relegate a woman to the background. . . but i tell you, when u've been involved with one you learn very quickly to cherish what seemingly tiny changes they bring to ur life.

cescky:
u misunderstood him,i think what seuns trying to say is that if the womans body is what brought about the marriage in the first palce which shldnt be,then he will sure dump her for fresh meat
and since the woman's body was the reason he went for "fresh meat", when that one becomes old he will dump her for another "fresh meat" and then dump and get more "fresh meat" and . . . and  . . .

when will the fresh and old meat cycle end?
RomanceRe: Do Women Love Money More Than Men? by 4Him1(m): 7:44pm On Jun 15, 2008
Seun:
And why wouldn't they, when you think about it? If what attracted him to you in the first place is your youthful body, then of course he will jump ship when he finds a fresher one.

Another reason is that during the period of suffering the wife may have been disrespectful to them.
Seun, i dont agree. I'd rather stick with a woman who went thru thick and thin with me than pick a "youthful" body who never understood what it meant to weather the storm with me.
If after the struggle "madam's" body is no longer as fresh as it once was, no problem . . . we shall enjoy what we have together.

amber_ella:
ah, you guys know I'm right
you're not only wrong, you arrogantly continue to revel in your own ignorance.

amber_ella:
and you know that you're obsessed with defining yourselves in terms of whites.
FALSE! I admit that advanced countries are much better in terms of economic opportunities for the African . . . but for that reason millions of africans (i speak for myself) would 150% of the time prefer to remain at home than suffer racist abuse from ignorant and low life whites. Until i left my country i never knew what it meant to notice the color of my neighbour's skin.

amber_ella:
You also know that it's wrong, but it's easier to say, "I'm black, I can't be racist," than to admit that this is a problem with your mentality.
Everyone is prone to be racist. Even blacks are racist to blacts of a different tribe. You are simply one of the many closet racists who brandish their "i have a black friend" status before going on a racist rant. This forum is not a reflection of the broad spectrum of Nigerians . . . infact the vast majority come from just 2 tribes in Nigeria. There are a good more tribes out there u have never interacted with.

I mentioned earlier, grow up.
There are whites here who dont make it a point of duty to whine about their skin color like you do.
there are blacks here married to whites who go about life without crying blue murder anytime stereotypes about whites are made.
We endure stereotypes everyday of our waking lives, we havent set up internet forums solely to bemoan our status just yet.

Until you have walked in a black man's shoes you have no right to cry about racism.

Wasn't tithing made redundant by the blood of JC? If not, what dispensation did it get to spare it from the blood of JC?
more proof that you dont understand what you purport to talk about.
The blood of Jesus Christ - eternal salvation
Tithes - not always compulsory but a sign of gratitude from a christian to His Father.
