@nnenneigbo Juo ya.Before now ,I did not know who she was ![]() |
@Stilletos Of all the lovely Nigerian women, you are not one of them ![]() Mad people full here for sure and you are surely one of them ![]() |
I didn't know there was something wrong with the letter "X",untill I came across this story-http://www.nysun.com/article/46707 Apparently some Islamic scholars are unhappy with it and want it banned in Saudi Arabia.Reason is,it resembles the cross ![]() The Islamic world can seem strange especially looking from the outside |
When I first came on NL.I used my real email and I was getting crap, even threats As a female, you will get countless stalkers if you put up your mail address. My girlfriend,Coco 29, gets everything from marriage proposals to appeals for money . |
Just set up another email address for nairaland.Don't use your real email. Should I still send mine through your former email or should I leave it |
@nnenneigbo Nga agwa gi na email I have too many enemies here ![]() |
See them,Onitsha boys.Agboro |
@Kitaun Who is 17 points clear of Arsenal? Answer the question and move on |
A prominent man was found dead in an Arsenal jersey. The Police dressed up the dead body in female underwear to save his family the embarrasment .True story |
What do you call an Arsenal fan with half a brain? Gifted ![]() |
If you want to talk about the past,am cool with that .Simple question, have you ever won the Champions League? Our past is better than yours, the present is better than yours and the future will be the same Keep dreaming about 2 years from now.You dream about things,we live your dreams |
Ok,so you are now reduced to spectators wishing Chelsea success against us.How the mighty has fallen Did I hear you mention the transition? Is it IBB's or Abacha's transition ![]() Ok so in 2 years ,you will win the league .You remind me of Leeds Utd a few years ago, with all those young players ![]() When we did a similar transition in 94/95,we won the league straight away.2 years from now will make it 5 years since you won |
Was it not Bolton we beat 4-0 at home?.It took you 210 mins to get a victory against them Reading is still stronger side than BLACKBURN.You even had your best player,Henry,on the pitch and you still couldn't score In the last 5 matches, apart from the Ojoro against Wigan, you have not won a match in regular time |
debosky:Exactly!A year from now,we will only remember this season for who won the league. What do you remember the 98/99 season for?Was it the fact that Arsenal beat us 3-0 twice or was it the fact that we won the league? The undeniable truth is,you would rather be in our position than in yours |
My friend,it is a shame that it took you 210 mins to defeat Bolton Reading are a much stronger side than Blackburn, they had no midweek match. Face the facts, your team is useless. |
Women |
Are you forgetting you have lost more games this season than us.Do u remember a team called Sheffield Utd?They didn't even have a goalkeeper. ![]() You couldn't beat a team without a goalie.Abomination The table speaks for itself. |
If you weren't so crap, you would have defeated Bolton at first attempt.Your problems were self inflicted If we are so crap at 1st position, what are you at 4th? ![]() |
Lucky Blackburn just came off a tough midweek game away to Bayern Leverkusen Luckier you were meeting Blackburn instead of Reading, look at the league table |
Lucky Blackburn were missing 7 first team starters |
That crap club couldn't beat Blackburn,so their crap manager is trying to get the FA to remove replays |
Useless people, can't even beat Blackburn with their best players |
check out her new looks-http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/showbiz/article-23386100-details/Britney's+wig+hides+the+bald+truth/article.do |
Afam:Na you be the Igwe of Spin of Nairaland.I still admire the work you did on UN Security Council Resolutions and the CNN report ![]() My 2 earlier statements on who America blames for Katrina are in no way different |
kabiyesi:Most Americans attribute greater blame to the Mayor and Governor than the President in every poll conducted on the subject.Last time I checked, most Americans live in the US |
MAMAJAMA:The statements here were not attributed to the Ambassador or the Secretary of State but to anonymous sources quoting anonymous congressmen Sure we have money,$40 billion dollars in oil revenues per annum. The US's budget totalled $2.9trillon and that is just the Fed Govt's budget |
Donzman:Go on tell us why Donzman:No we don't sell it on the cheap. We sell gas to the US at almost the same price as Canada sells to the US.Energy prices have been going up over the past few years Donzman:We have not yet reached that stage Donzman:No we will do better investing in the most cost effective energy resources. That is what economics is about Donzman:No,David Ricardo's Theory of Comaparative Advantage demands that you spend what what you have on what you don't have if it is cheaper that way.It is not cheaper to trade our very cheap domestic fossil fuels for very expensive Western renewable technology Donzman:This is not matter of now or never. We can use the cheaper fossil fuels now and when it is more cost effective ,renewable energy. We shouldn't jump the gun. India and China are developing nations yet they are nowhere near engaging in such large scale investment in renewable energy. You must have heard of them snapping up our hydrocarbon If this was such a brilliant idea, why aren't they doing it first |
Donzman:Dude, you and I know that investing in renewable energy would not neccessarily make us develop indigenous technology in renewable energy that would free us from foreign technology. We have invested billions of dollars on fossil fueled power plants and yet we have no discernible technology in that area that is indigenous. What we need most is economic growth and we can't get that unless we learn to allocate scarce resources efficiently.Right now the most efficient source of energy is natural gas, which we have an abundance of. The Western nations find renewable energy very costly and that is why they have been slow in adopting it and they have resorted to doing things such as importing gas from us.If it is too costly for them,it is more so for us. All this talk of us developing our own technology is gibberish and you know that |
LoverBwoy:With respect to global warming,it is not localised.Reducing our fossil fuel emissions won't have an impact on the effects of global warming in Nigeria LoverBwoy:If renewable energy is too expensive for rich nations at the moment to adopt on a massive scale,it is more so for poorer countries. In Nigeria,we have one of the world's largest reserves of natural gas. That is more economically sensible to exploit instead of flaring gas as we do at the moment. Countries are lining up to buy our gas and people are advocating that we should stop using it for ourselves.Renewable energy is the way of the future but at the moment it cannot solve our energy needs |
