I stand with Senator Akpabio on this. There is no way Engr. Chris Ekpeyong or anyone else in Ikot ekpene Senatorial district can defeat him in any election. He has active loyalists all over the State. It's similar like saying President Buhari would lose in the core north.

You think south-southerners and South-easterners are mindless goats that politicians can drag anywhere they like? Listen if a man as popular as Ifeanyi Uba who won based on his philanthropy and popularity on the YPP platform joins APC, he might become politically worthless.

Southern politicians must understand the aspirations of their people and follow those aspirations. If you dump your current platform into a party they believe antagonises their region for your selfish gain, you may find yourself alone like Akpabio, Ngige, Andy Uba etc.
