Death is not and has never been a weapon of God. You ask why he allows tragic death; he already averted it, and that, more than 2000 years ago. The reason death still occurs is because believers have refused to steward that which has been committed to them. And no, the world won't experience population crisis if men don't die. This is a mystery hidden for sons to unravel.

Your soul houses your spirit and these two live on so inadvertently it is your soul that connects.

I read your OP.

I don't know what your background is. I don't know what your beliefs are

But what I can tell you is this. Your beliefs don't mirror mine.

Now here is what I believe.

I believe that it was not the original purpose of Man to die. The original purpose was that Earth be filled with perfect offspring of Adam and Eve who were loyal and obedient to God. At least that much is known. What the ongoing purpose was cannot be known because that original purpose was halted.

I believe that the soul that sins will die.

I believe that the soul is not different from Man himself. His flesh, mind, body and being is embodied by the word soul. His spirit as used by the Bible in direct relation to man is his life force. A soul without life is dead. A soul with life is alive.

I also believe that whether you are innocent, or whether you are evil, if you so happen to be on the wrong side of time and chance, you will suffer the calamities or in some cases the benefits that come from it. Many bad things have happened to people because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Good things have also happened because they were in the right place at the right time. As long as God permits this old order of things to continue, as long as Satan continues to reign supreme in the Earth, these things will continue to happen.

I believe that Gods original purpose will not remain halted. As a matter of fact, God has been busy setting things in motion for the revival of his original purpose. A key feature in that revival was sending his son Jesus to Earth to die for our sins so that through his blood we might be declared righteous.

I do not believe that Heaven is our home. I believe that Earth is Mans home. A gift from God. Earth has the capacity to do so much more than it is doing now. There is so much about this Jewel called Earth that we do not know and that we have not exploited. All the promises that God made in the bible that are yet to come to fulfillment are promises that need to happen on Earth.

You pray "Let your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven". You pray those words everyday and yet you fail to ponder the real meaning of that sentence. You cannot be asking God to do his will on Earth while yet you hope to go to heaven one day. Why then is he doing his will on earth when all you have to do is be patient enough for your time.

Death, sickness, hunger, violence.....all of this are things that are affecting us on Earth. So when God promised to remove them, he did not mean in heaven. He meant right here on Earth, where they are happening.

This is what I believe in. And this is what gives me hope.

The bitter truth is every one of us must die at different times through different means regardless of the age. Whether by human error, gun, natural disasters, wars, plane crash, sickness...WE ALL MUST LEAVE THIS EARTH.

It is quite unfortunate that the earth does not have infinite resources for limitless number of species so by default, people must die for earth's ecological balance to be sustained. In like manner, for the earth to maintain its balance, every living species must at one time or the other leave for new ones to have space. So the bitter truth is that people must die and as people leave this earth, new people come in through child birth and this balance must continue regardless of your prayer to live long....IF GOD ANSWERS EVERYBODY'S PRAYER FOR LONG LIFE I GUESS THIS WORLD WILL BE SATURATED.

What GOD cares about is our souls and whilst we cry on earth when anyone dies, to GOD it is home coming cos this earth is just a temporary place for our souls.

Our souls–that invisible and eternal part of us–is the part that connects us with God. It’s what makes us different than all other life forms on the planet: every human has a soul. Your soul is the real you and that is what GOD really cares about and not your earthly body. That’s why Jesus asked, “Is anything worth more than your soul?”(Mark 8:37)

. God allows such because Satan questioned his authority back then in the garden of eden and also lied against him, since then he(Satan) has been the one in control of this world ( 1 john 5 vs 19, Luke 4 vs 6) , but very soon his(Satan's) rulership will be brought to an end ( john 12:31, Daniel 2 : 44) and God will take over through his son Jesus Christ, people will be resurrected ( jonh 5 : 28 & 29, acts 24: 15) and the earth will be restored to its perfect conditions as God intended, ( revelation 21: 3 and 4)

You don't have the answer Just Shut Up!

You may be right but...
What use is empathy when a situation is inevitable?
Where is the wisdom in denying reality?
Sir, show me how life is getting better with technology?

Death is life, and life is death
We were all born to die
How and when it happens makes no difference
The exit door allows no luggage

What we call empathy is nothing but a reaction born out of fear and insecurity. Every death reminds the living of something inevitable, we dislike death so much that we forgot how to live.

We should stop feeling pains on behalf of the dead, they know better than the wisest in flesh.
Death is not the problem, but our attachment to what isn't life.

My opinion
Re: Why Does GOD Allow tragic death? by omoyankee3(m): 3:29pm On Mar 13
Since the day Adam sinned, death has come into this world. And since we were seeds of the corrupted Adam, sin has been passed unto us (For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God). And the wages of sin is death; death of the body and soul.

So, it's not God that caused death to happen, but the sin in man.

.... but the gift of God is eternal life.

God has made provision to redeem us from death and give us life eternal through his son, Jesus Christ. So if you accept him as Lord and savior, when your body dies, your soul WON'T die as well.

According to the Bible,
God kill over 100,000 persons,
Satan killed 10

Why reference from a book you don't believe? Why expect to be saved by a God you don't fear or reverence or believe in? Don't allow the devil deceive you.
Dominion was given to man from the beginning, but he lost it through the deception of the devil, but, thank God for salvation through which our Dominion is(can be) restored, when Jesus is allowed into our hearts.

Now, in response to the Op - God does not allow these tragic deaths. Entertaining these thoughts, is allowing the devil to create resentment in your heart towards God. Remember that he is subtle. The Truth is God still speaks and guides His children away from evil, but, how many heed to his guidance? How many of us (Christians) grow spiritually to the point that we can hear Him when He speaks? How many even obey Him when they hear?. Don't let the devil deceive you to point accusing fingers at God for what he has done.

We should rather continually ask God to help us Know him more and more and to be obedient to his voice that's the only thing that guarantees a sorrow-free life.

Fact is, before any tragic event that involves God children happens, somebody somewhere has been prompted to take appropriate steps. Either the person directly involved or somebody that can do something to prevent or exempt that child of God. Believing otherwise is allowing the deception of the devil to take hold of you.

I recommend that Believers should get the teaching series of Kenneth Hagin of blessed memory, titled, developing the human spirit or get the Book and read.

The earlier we realize GOD does not play by our rules, we will think freely. In the Bible GOD will tell David to go to a city and slaughter thousands and show no mercy. He doesn't give a f**k. Even as a Christian I am still logical to admit some of the things did in the name of GOD in the ancient times can be categorized as genocide today. The Israelites treated non-jews as inferiors and gave them the derogatory name known as Gentiles, today that will be called Racism. GOD doesn't care about political correctness or social brouhaha, one of the reasons that make him GOD. I have come to terms with this, as a human , we may not agree with some of the things he does but what can we do?
Exactly! I read the 1 and 2 Samuel reading how David slaughtered and went and celebrate with spoils (things they took) as bible called it and even asked God whether or not to go to some battles and was given direction honestly it scared me.... I was like is this not inhumane but then again he's and will always be God. Seems he's merciful now unlike like bible days... I am a christain but I'm also a free thinker my conclusion is this life and happenings both past and now remain a mystery I honestly don't get it.

That is if u av d means to enjoy the life.

onlyinJESUS:
Death is the wages of sin.
We transgressed God's law in Adam who served as our representative. Adam disobeyed God and as a result, landed us in misery and eternal ruin.

No innocent person die. Even infants were conceived in sin

WTF!! Infants were conceived in sin they didn't commit? Interesting!

Sorry to say this but some of u have very low reasoning
So it is only when we initiate a nuclear war to wipe out every living thing that your God would intervene NY sending aliens ?

Simple example, you won't understand so how would you understand the complex life.

OK Let me write it straight... As far as nothing threatens the existence of life and death, the aim of creation is in line. Relate it to a simple business, the CEO only shows up, when a major decision is about to be taken. Read about the planet earth, the positioning, the magnetic field that shield us from cosmic rays, the speed of rotation, and type of solar system where it belongs, you will know it was well constructed. Nobody will deceive me about this.. That being that constructed all this is God.

Before you bring "God" into the argument, read about the concept of "Yang and Ying" as it applies to "Good and Evil". You will realise the arbitrariness in the concept of Good and Evil. In order not to have a chaotic world and the desire of man for self-preservation, man decided to aproximate some phenomenon as "Good" and its opposite "Evil". The approximation itself is still relative and not absolute. That is why criminals are executed by law and no one (or maybe very few) scream "Evil". In essence, Good or Evil doesn't have Absolute existence. They are the creations of our imagination, perception, philosopy, religion etc.

Now you see why you shouldn't drag "God" into your confusion.

Confusions like this make the world interesting and should spur us to seek harder, the Ultimate Ground of Existence which we all call God. Philosophy made first attempt in seeking and gave birth to religion. Religion imposed "answers" as dogmas and gave birth to science as a result of dissatisfaction. Science is still searching for answers.

In summary, we all know nothing. When the Oracle of Delphi picked Socrates as the wisest man on earth Socrates was surprised and laughed saying "Why will the Oracle of Delphi pick me? The Oracle of Delphi is always right but I know NOTHING so I can't be the wisest man" The Oracle was right after all. For he who knows not and knows that he knows not is wise.

Keep Seeking.

Hermes019:

The problem with human being is that we want to feel special both as individuals and as a species.
Let's assume atheists are right and God doesn't exist, what do u think would happen, humans would still invent Gods like we have today because we want to have assurance that someone out there is wachting over us,we want assurance that we would continue to exist after we die.
The easiest ay to live your life is to make a purpose for yourself, life doesn't owe you anything,in the scheme of things our planet is sub microscopic compared to our galaxy, our galaxy is super super sub microscopic compared to the universe, it is stupidity to think that we more significant than we are

No, in this case there are evidences, if you observe the whole part of the world has a religion. If there was no impact from religion, it will die automatically. I want to ask you, what power do this pastors use to push people without touching them? In science, I will call it electromagnetic force but these pastors are not that smart in engineering to construct that kind of suit with EMF, so how come? Again, we try to pretend that native doctors and witches don't exist but inside you, you know they exist in Africa, so how come?
