Bro, there are many kinds of recruitment scams.

There are extortion scams, the ones that your hard earned money will be carted away with.

There are scams where you will be invited to a fake venue where you will be nabbed and your organs will probably be harvested

And then, there is this specific type of scams purely out of evilness or just for the scammer's joy to give false hope to someone or make someone waste time, efforts, and money.

I happened to be a victim of the last type of scam last year, i went to the venue, a NGO venue and i made a fool of myself. They said they never sent me any mail infact they were not recruiting. I carried my CV and credentials and left heartbroken

Nigeria customs service will never send you personal email for the latest recruitment that you have been employed or shortlisted for training, what you should look out for is a mail that with link to print your examination venue and date if you are successful after considerations and there will be update on 3 national newspaper, e.g daily trust, then NCS social media on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram immediately.
Same information will be provided with link on the NCS main website for clarification.

After the exam, another list will be released months later via the same channels mentioned above for national screening, medical and endurance test inform of 3km race/ jogging which maybe done regional or in
customs training college, Gwagwalada, Abuja.
This will take 2 days.

Finally, the final list will be out again for documentation and collection of appointment letter in Area1, Abuja.
This should take btw 2days to 1 week, depending on your level, method adopted, officials in charge, number of candidates per day and time of arrival.

For those who are new on this trend, follow any of the NCS on any of the social media well known to you for daily updates on latest happening relating to customs.

Come on young man, im not saying you shouldn't ask questions but this type of questions is unnecessary, its already been answered and im sure you definitely saw it.

There are people like us who follow this thread for updates, tips and info but its really not soothing to get notifications only to see a questions which was immediately answered since.

COMMENCEMENT OF TRAINING.

Nigeria Customs Service is set to commence basic training for the recently enlisted and documented candidates.

The six (6 ) months training programme which will take place in Customs training Colleges in Kano and Lagos, will commence on Monday 10th January 2022.

Consequently, all documented candidates of Grade levels 03, 04 and 06 are requested to arrive the Customs Training College, Goron Dutse, Kano, while those of Grade 08 are to report at Customs Training College, Ikeja, Lagos on Sunday 9th January 2022.

Recruits are to note that any act of indiscipline at any stage of the training programme will attract severe penalties which may include out right dismissal/ eviction from the College.

Please also note that arrival at the designated College according to the specified levels above on Sunday 9th January 2022 is mandatory as training commences on Monday 10th January 2022.
