The last generation of the ML350 started in 2011 and I have seen some of them around that were pretty facelifted and giving the 2019 GLE (I think) body kit. Though people do it, but I don't think it's a wise financial decision. Boils down to choice sha.
2011 ML is a W164.

Funny how most people think a cat delete would greatly affect fuel economy.
I've done straight pipe on a car and even took out it's muffler just for experiment sake and realized it doesn't significantly affect fuel economy (if there was any difference at all).
The only thing it did was making me drive spiritedly because of the Joy I was getting from exhaust note; and yeah it was a manual transmission which was more fun to drive with rev matching and gear change.

When CAT is deleted and no spacer provision for the oxygen sensor attached, then fuel economy would be affected negatively

Is 2007 e350 a good car to buy, is it rugged, and how's maintenance?
What are it's pros and cons?

My bad. I used to think the W166 production started in 2011.

Good day guys
I need advise on this 2008 E350 I'm thinking of purchasing.
Is it reliable as a daily driver to and from work(Roughly an hour's drive per trip)?

What's the maintenance like?
Are the parts readily available in Abuja?
What's the average cost of maintenance......say.... monthly

That is at most an 06 W211. It’s not an 08 model judging from the side mirrors, taillight, bumper, foglamp and grille.

It’s a good car but since it’s an old Mercedes, be prepared to spend some money fixing stuffs when they fail. If it’s a locally used car, pls be extremely careful and ensure you carry out due diligence before purchase.

Dispute with facts?

Old mercs are money pits.
Granted the E-Klasse sedans are fairly reliable, but something tends to break down every now and often, which makes it A MONEY PIT.

And to worsen the scenario, it's a Nigerian used car with Nigerians having a perchance for negligent maintenance culture.

How did you arrived at it being a Nigerian used car?

Your engine is M104 inline 6cylinder engine. Meaning what you have there is not a V6 but an i6 engine. 6 cylinders arranged in a straight line wanna know more, research M104

Nice thread

I have been fortunate to drive 3 good 190's from 2001 till date,

All direct from Stuttgart Germany and i can gladly inform any one of Y'all here

That no one can match the speed of my 190 wiv any other benz product here,

why do y'all think im bear the name 190 cos of its uniqueness, bulit and turgidity which i love most

Im also into C-Classes and B-Class (although it looks too weak for my likin) but im not a Big fan of the V-Boot,A-Class and e-class

I am a specialist in benz products and fortunately some fews jeeps and a yaris, I have never driven any car not even a camry except a

benz

NEXT UP FOR ME IS THIS CAR HERE,

Please bosses I have a 2007 last batch c230 with the 272 V6 engine. What's the recommended battery capacity to fit in. I'm having an issue of battery drain and I'm trying to pin point the actual cause if its the battery(75amp) or the alternator which tend to charge but once loads like lightning gets on it or its on idle for a long time the battery seem to drain. Please help

Recommended battery capacity should be 100AH but that has got nothing to do with the battery drain issue.Get a good electrician to solve that problem. Even with the 100AH it will still drain.

Chai...nope. those cars always have something to fix. SAM module, SBC module, central control module, canbus... To make it worse car has limited interior space....
And if battery drain enter.... You'll repent absolutely

I haven't seen maintenance freaks? Lol. Okay...
There's no amount of maintenance that you'll do on an aging car; a mercedes for an example.

Worn out parts, too many electronics that are likely to fail with time.

Toyota, Honda, yes... But never all these German cars with their over engineered systems...

SOMETHING MUST ALWAYS FAIL NO MATTER HOW MAINTENANCE AWARE YOU ARE.

Where I'm confused is that it doesn't drain overnight.... Sometimes it's when I drive out and go to the filling station and I had to restart the vehicle that's when it will refuse to start... And some times when the car is on idle I will notice the rev will drop and the alternator battery sign will show up. I'll have to rev up for like 5 seconds till it charges up again and balance... I can leave the car for three days without starting it and the battery won't drain but the moment I start it and it is on idle I notice it drains, once I REV up it charges, and most of the times if I off the engine and try to start it up at that point it won't start, I'll have to jump start it
