One thing society has done is making us believe the following:
1) All mothers care for their child(ren).
2) Mothers care more for their children than their fathers. Ever had that "there's nothing like a mother's love"?

These assumptions are used in the court of law to automatically grant women custody of their children in the court of law during a divorce, all things being equal.

Are these true or false? If you can, make an argument for your answer.

Yes

In a perfect world, mothers care more.

In reality, mothers have more acceptance and endurance compared to fathers.

They also have a mammary gland that strengthen the mother-child relationship, love and bond. But all we've got is nipples without milk.

Mothers also have a way of overemphasizing their roles in their children life, all mothers are guilty of this and it's a form of blackmail. So the child ends up believing that until s/he becomes a parent, s/he also passes the believe to her/his children until a circle/believe system is created.

Fathers on the other hand do not have time for this bull.shit!

Mothers have soft spot for their children especially when it's their natural born ones. don't really know about adopted.
They tend to also think like and understand the children better
We have seen cases where mothers who left their children at home to go to the market will just say "I should be on my way home my child is crying already"

All things equal, mother care for and love their children far more than the father. She is the one that gets pregnant, and consequently breastfeed and nurse her child unto maturity. The man may ''check out'' (abandon the child, deny paternity etc), but women usually do not have or undergo that option. The female naturally is wired to cater and sacrifice for her offspring. Women are more interested in people, more of the reason why you will find most jobs that require human interactions dominated by females (e.g teachers, nurses, customer services, hospitality).

Yes, there are isolated cases of a father expressing affection than the mum, but in the overwhelming case, it is the woman who not only sacrifices herself to be pregnant as her body undergo radical changes but also, contributed the most (e.g breastfeeding) to the maturity of her child.
