There is no alliance between the North and the west. There is only an alliance between Tinubu and Buhari. Buhari won because of his massive followership in the north. By 2023, buhari will not be in the ballot again. Tinubu have very little chance of winning election in the north. It will go back to House- Igbo alliance as it has always been from the beginning of time in Nigeria.

I think that was a twist of the tongue, I believe he meant to say "in 2011, the Yorubas and Igbos supported Jonathan overwhelmingly and that's why he won. The 2011 election was an eye opener which proved that the so called northern political domination can actually be broken, but only if the entire south aligns for a common goal.
u are correct...the northern hegemony is a facade..2011 Jonathan only won in taraba adamawa out of north east and west...but won overwhelmingly in entire south and middle belt...to win presidency four regions must support..buhari was a king of d north but kept losing til he was voted by south west and middle belt...a Yoruba presidency is not sure...moreover Nigeria is getting to dat point wer pple vote personality...

Read the cards bruv, we are producing the next president. We have been waiting for this opportunity since Obasanjo left office, we know he wasn't the best and we are looking to correct that.

It certainly going to be El Rufai
oilPUSSY:

“In 1999, when the constitution came in, Obasanjo wasn’t sponsored by the Yoruba, even though he was a Yoruba man; the Yoruba rejected him, and sponsored Falae. But the Northerners and the Igbo voted for him; the Yoruba never voted for him and he still won because the Northern Hausa and the Eastern Igbo decided to support him.

“In 2003, Obasanjo came for the second term; again, he was not sponsored by the Yoruba; the Yoruba put up another candidate but still he won.

“In 2007, Yar’Adua was not supported by the Yoruba but the Igbo supported the Northerners and he won.

“In 2011, Jonathan came in, he’s not a Northerner but he was supported by the North and the Igbo, and he won.

This will tell you how inconsequential their votes are. But but since butterfly have started seeing themselves as birds, they are going back to their normal position when the chips are down.

A country bereft of love and justice for one another can never prosper. In the next 100 if Nigeria still exist will be worse. Since 1960 we have been going down the drain.

Were was Love & Justice when Igbo political and military leaders did a 'collabo" and massacred political and military leaders from other ethnic groups, spared their blothers in similar positions and ended up hijacking power fromHausa-Fulani after their treachery.

Believe you me, Love & Justice died on January 15th,1966, in Nigeria and unfortunately, may not return to this part of planet earth until the powers that be, in Nigeria, decide we should part ways as a country.

This is deep.
It is true that Igbos haven't had a leader since Zik

The Igbo Nation do not believe in anyone leading them.
The British have to create warrant Chiefs, to lead them, during colonization period.
The only known leaders Igbo Nation ever had were Ojuiku and Nnamdi not Azikiwe, but Kanu.

grin See this one forming champion. You supported Jonathan and yaradua and Yoruba did not support them abi, can you bring out results. Since igbo votes are very consequential, what stopped igbo votes from putting Jonathan and Atiku into the position. Just see how he's trying to take others glories to his inconsequential race.
