Good evening house. Please can I send my statement of result to WES in place of my degree certificate for evaluation?
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by Neduckc: 12:49am On Jun 26, 2019
Congratulations to you dear. I'm happy for you. Did you actually show your Dads bank statement to the V. O?
Falodefunsho:
All praises to the most high God. My visa was approved today.

Degree: M.Sc
University: Eastern Illinois University
Course: Biological Science (One Year Program)
No funding
Deficit 25,625

Lagos Consulate

Q: What course will you be studying
Ans: Biological Science with concentration on Environmental Biology.

V.O: Why are you studying Biology
I studied marine biology but then I decided on this M.Sc choice when I had a short internship with Nigerian institute of oceanography and marine research, through this period,we were conducting marine mammal observation and due to seismic exploration that was going on, there was lots of pollution, it was at this point I draw interest in water quality and ecotoxicolgy, also I really want to work as a marine environment specialist, a job that requires at least a master’s degree in biology or a related field.

V.O: I see you have a b1/b2 that recently expired, tell me about your trip.
Told him I traveled after my B.Sc for vacation,I attended a convention and went on to visit my aunt and uncle,I mentioned I was in Illinois and New York.

V.O: What other schools did you apply to?
Minnesota State University and University it Surrey in England.

V.O: Why did you choose this school
I was mostly interested in their environmental biology course work than the other schools I applied to, they offer courses in bioenergy and bioresources, also they have practical study sites for research on aquatic ecosystems which personally caught my interest and again Dr Charles who’ll be lie my program advisor has an ongoing research in aquatic ecology with emphasis on lake restoration and the use of algae as biological monitors of pollution which directly aligns with my research interest.

V.O: Are you married?
No

V.O:Do you have kids?
No

V.O: Did you write exams.
Yes,I took IELTS.

VO: Are you married? Sorry I asked earlier.

V.O: Who’s paying your tuition
My father

V.O: What does he do?
I told him

Your visa is approved, pick up your passport blah blah blah

Notes:
All the questions weren’t asked in that order but I think I’m fairly correct. He took long typing breaks almost after every question.

SOA wasn’t requested and I wasn’t placed on Administrative processing.

Student’s funds on my I-20 is larger than my deficit, the school wrote the total funds in my dad’s account as funds from Father. So people who have the same issue don’t have much to worry about.

Thanks to Time2Win and Brown2green for mock interviews and to everyone else on the platform adding valuable content. Cheers.

Why USA
Learning to me goes beyond studying book but also having intellectual discussion and relationship with both professors and students from various backgrounds with different knowledge and experience
The USA is globally recognised country for educational excellence and a academic friendly environ hence the destination of over 500000 international students and global standard lecturers being a part of this assembling of intellect will not only boost my knowledge but will give me a competitive edge on my return to my country

Why Not study in your country

I deeply crave to be a champion of change innovation and development in the field of project management and operations with respect to agriculture and marketing, achieving such a desire will never be possible if I am not exposed to an advanced system/process in a developed country that's a world leader in innovation.
Secondly international experience accrues a lot of respect and will put me in the forefront of change and improvement after I must have learnt both in class and outside class in the u.s.a. on my return

Why SNHU

Firstly, course curriculum which includes courses in project management operations management Six Sigma quality management quantitative analysis and statistics decision-making statistics totally covers all I desire to learn with respect to the experience I've gained and my future plans secondly doctor bleep has 7 years working experience in Africa during which he successfully established a business model in rural community to improve their economy, now this is very similar to my own business model as it is also going to be focused towards rural community. so working with somebody at such a global level who understands where I'm coming from and has done what I want to do on my return will make transfer learning easier. Hence it will be of very very big advantage to me and a double Plus for me.

What have you been doing after Graduation.

How to my graduation I went for my one-year NYSC in 2013 and went into agriculture where are invested $300 with the production of making $500 from it at the end of the day I made only $5 very devastating but I learnt my lessons and that exposed me to a business idea in agriculture that I've been working on ever since then. in 2014 I started working with bleep as a brand activation executive where I manned as customer experience centre, in 2016 I moved to bleep as a corporate sales executive my role was terms negotiation client relationship and account management are there move to bleep in 2017 as an enterprise sales specialist and 3 months later I moved to bleep as a marketing operations coordinator where I worked on various divisions such as agric automobile, I. T, power products activities were marketing OPERATIONS, marketing research brand promotion amongst others now I'm looking forward I'm looking forward to taking a managerial role in it agric division

What will the course do for you/Why this course

After successfully studying and gaining extensive knowledge in project management, operations management, quality management supply chain management, statistics and spreadsheet management it will land me the prowess and qualification to take up a managerial role in my present company as they are expanding their business in agriculture, this position is also a pathway to establishing my own business model which is focused on centralising the various value chain processes in agriculture hence fully establishing my own company which I also look forward to changing the customer experience in restaurants by introducing/selling an advanced operational process.

Please, both , kindly share your opinion on if my story is constant and convincing.
I am already aware of some negatives with the choice of course as it can be fully done online... So based on this... What do you guys think...

Don't forget to tell the VO why you'd prefer to study on campus and not the online program.....speak about being focused in class which you might not get with the distractions that might come with an online program and also about the fact that class interaction can benefit you in a sense that you can learn from your piers too.

Didn't quote full post so you can take down transcript late on once you gotten enough feedback

After graduation , all that stories that touch is not needed. Also remember interview is usually less than 5 mins per person. If you blink you can miss it so long answers , the Vo might most likely but you off so say what is important first that way when you cut off you said what's important . Work on delivery and confident as that's very important. Best of luck

Sat , ielts and Toefl are all different exams ..... so the school knows best on what they have set as their requirements. If you want to go there then stick to their requirements

Shout out to everyone on here. I pray you get positive outcomes from your respective interviews. I used this site 7 years ago and got my F-1 visa. Stay positive and believe in yourself. One great advice, have a plan for life after school. It is very important not to wait till the last minute.

PS: Anybody coming to Michigan? There are loads of good schools there.

Obviously, I cannot say you don't know your stuff but your responses are really choking on the throat (so to speak). Your sentences are just too long n making it difficult to digest or comprehend.

As Gloryemo has rightly opined, cut down the thing and honestly you know your stuff more than anyone n are in a better position to make the cuts.

I will suggest that you LIST your points instead of long sentences. Make short lists instead. Just my thoughts.

What if you've paid SEVIS for a school in Fall and was denied visa, can one change to
new SEVIS ID for spring admission with a different School of the same year
Adedayo65:
@fculek Don’t be scared, you’ve done the right thing.
That’s the default response you would get, but they will definitely change it to the new SEVIS ID even before that 48hrs. Just keep checking your mail.
