Ashirioluwa:I did on the 3rd and paid for priority, when the ban was announced i went for passport retrieval which tls didn’t get back to me till January. But before then, the first paid mail i sent i was told my application was being considered for decision making, that was on 16th of December. I sent another on 21st and was told decision had been made. Had to leave my passport at the tls on January 6th cos what i wanted to use it for had passed before i was contacted to pick it up. Till now I haven’t heard anything but I already know the status of my application. |

Gentlesoul3268: Thanks, yes i sent them last week Thursday and they said and i quote: We are receiving an unprecedented volume of applications which has led to an increase in escalations. We are working as quickly as we can to get through these, we apologise for any inconvenience this is causing you. Then I sent them another one yesterday, I have been waiting for their reply before this mail dropped. |

Hello guys Please I need your help. Please does anyone know how I can get in contact with Qatar Airways office in Doha by phone call? I booked a ticket directly from their website and would like to reschedule however, the contact centers in India I’ve been connected to through their helplines are not yielding to my request. Or is there a physical office in Abuja I can visit tomorrow? |

Hello house, I intend to apply for a UK tourist visa against Easter holidays and I am bit confused because I've a company registration which I registered as a enterprise (sole ownership) but I run my business with my personal account. So I want to seek advice, if it is advisable that I submit my personal statement with my application as source of proof of funds for the trip or I should try open a company account on the company information? |

Hello house. Please where and how and who can I apply to as a registered nurse for the NHS? I've applied and applied to trac with no positive feedback. Please help me out. Any town/city at all I'm okay but preferably Manchester or Southampton. Also is it advisable to send out emails to hospitals or to trusts? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Teslas: 1:49am On Jan 15, 2022 |
Baba19: Congratulations, The ECO must have known it is a mistake and ignore it but some ECO don't ignore it but lucky you. Be aware that every application is treated on what you present to them. Please be clearer next time and submit all documents, so don't stress your self so much. Include all the details in your application next time. |

Cycloe: Hello, It is painful that your sister's visa was denied. Just my suggestions, 1. If you have a birth certificate with the same surname, include it in your next application. 2. Whatapps conversation about your family, about your mother or dad or brothers or other siblings. 3. Pictures of you and your sister in the past and now. Include all pictures with your parent and your brothers if you have any, especially where you guys are wearing the same clothes as family. pictures of family occasions. 4. You said she is receiving a stipend or salary. Include the transfer to her every month and if your are not the one sending to her directly. Let the sender specify "Montly stipend or salary from your sister (your name) in the UK", or as the case maybe. With these you have demonstrated ties together and in the country. 5. Also, if you have an elder or parent in Nigeria. You can indicate in your letter that she is the one taking care of them. 6 If she is doing any course, training or learning anything in Nigeria, include them too, and all of her school certifications with the same surname as you. 7. If you are married, include your change of name that you published or affidavit to that effect in your application. |

Cycloe: Good suggestions, In addition, the UK accepts a 6 months statement of account, and if her husband wants to put money it is fine. But let the money have a purpose that will be tied to you. Both or another third party can do the transfer and tie it as you are sending her to buy land or something important. If she is not buying anything, let the money has purpose and remain in her account for one month before applying and the money should be there for the entire application. Ikeja is fine and wait, is she traveling with the kids?. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Teslas: 2:33am On Jan 15, 2022 |
leef2022: The ECO does not any concern for not working or concern about the family pictures. Let her include her marriage certificate, pictures of her family with kids and all child birth certificate and husband information as well as a certificate. It is also good to include your husband's financial status and property if there is any for them to know. Your husband can support you if need be. You can also put your husband as second sponsor with a letter of introduction and the reason for sponsor as all proof that you will be coming back to take care of your husband and kids. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Teslas: 2:42am On Jan 15, 2022 |
EJIOGBENIMI: Yes, you will have your passport with you and you will be able to mail the decision which you must have with you all the time. Or best bet attached it to one page and fold it in your passport but the risk in this is that you must wait till you get it before you travel back and if not, there are consequences attached to it. This is because you will be able to prove it when you have the paper with you even in your next application that your extension was approved. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Teslas: 2:51am On Jan 15, 2022 |
akin2310: Hello, Submit your personal account statement and declare how much you are getting from your business every month. You can also submit your company account along with invoce /recipts / transaction details on how mony enter the account just to prove you have a bix running but dont put your travelling on your bix acount. Reason is personal account is the fund you have access to and you can spend that but for bix, it is for bix and you cant spend it. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by cutebear: 7:01am On Jan 15, 2022 |
Register your business, open a business bank account and start running it for the next 6 months. You should also start paying yourself monthly salary from the business account to your normal salary/personal account (pay the same amount to yourself on the exact day of each month). Remember, based on several refusal letters we've seen on this thread, the ECOs believe that having a business account doesn't prove that you have access to the money. That is why you should pay yourself salary. As far as they’re concerned, the money in that personal account is the only money you have access to. Let the salary be reasonable sha. Not that the business earns 500k monthly and you will now be paying yourself 400k monthly. What else is left for the business?? Also try to keep your salary account as clean as possible. No random large deposits from people. If not, you will have to explain the sources of those funds to the ECO. Let all unexplainable deposits go through your business account. In addition, try to have sales invoices/receipt of sales. You don’t have to show all…just some as extra documentation. akin2310: |

leef2022:Good day Sir/ma, thank you for your previous advises. Please when is the earliest time I can apply for another visa? My proposed travel date is 30 June and I plan to return on 26 July ( current visa will expire on 3 July). My work schedule(offshore) does not permit me to go for biometric and return at will due to some precautionary measures. I will have to be away from work when I am apply, do biometric and wait to pick up my passport before returning to work. The earliest I can do this, the better for me(I am still away from work till February because I was not able to cancel the leave that I took earlier). |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by leef2022: 9:14am On Jan 15, 2022 |
EJIOGBENIMI: Good day Sir/Ma An application for a visa is to be done, not earlier than 3 months prior to intended date of arrival to the UK. But your worries at this point, should be, if your work place is not able to afford a day for biometrics, would they be able to afford/approve you a leave for periods from 30.06.2022 to 26.07.2022 considering you have perhaps taken your yearly leave at this time. These are some questions you may need to start getting sorted as in anticipation for a renewal at a later time to demonstrate to the VO that you have leave to be away for the periods you would state. But, and then if you won't have a leave, seriously, you must have to start to consider the extension thingy and do an extensive research of how to achieve that. That, I unfortunately, i have no enough knowledge on about. But again if i said don't go for that, is from my personal view of things and should please not alter your best option.. Again, wish you the best of your career in the UK |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by leef2022: 9:32am On Jan 15, 2022 |
Teslas: Hello, Thanks for your quote. But i never said the applicant being unemployed was a concern or the only concerns the ECO held in reaching a conclusion. The texts "cracks may lie" was in regards to the op's admission that the applicant did not submit her personal bank statement(s), and in a case if it were deemed necessary for the applicant's husband to write a note as a sponsor, whilst it were lacking. with every sense of humility, I am lost as to what or how you wish the op to understand that the ECO has no concerns about family pictures, yet you suggesting the applicant to include such. Thanks Kind regards. |

That was quick! Didn’t you do your biometrics just last week? Or was it a priority application? Also, kindly share the refusal letter so that we can all join heads to analyse it and give as much insight as we can. So sorry for this refusal. I know this feeling too well beautyuche: |

leef2022: Thank you. I don't have problem with getting another leave for my trip. I will receive the necessary support from my employer. I run a rotation of 60days (work)/28 days(off) I can be flexible if the need arises. The problem is that I can't demobilise for just a day and get re-mobilised immediately as I have to be quarantined for 10 days and some other logistic challenges (a replacement Doctor has to go through quarantine for 10 days and work for 11 days, just to cover for me for a day leave). I think it's safe to apply and go for the biometric in the first week of May. Thank you. |
