Was hard the first few days, but I found a workaround and it's been smooth sailing since.

Please do share your workaround. I really need to start using my phone.

WORK AT HOME JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR EVERYONE

Our Company is looking for home-based workers who will join our workforce as Remote Independent Contractors for our Editing and Transcription Agency. We have clients all over the world for whom we transcribe and proofread audiovisuals through our dedicated workforce. We are currently hiring transcribers, and the opportunity is open to everyone.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR TRANSCRIBERS

Our transcribers simply convert audio and video files to text. Your job as a transcriber will be to make audio and video files available as Microsoft Word Documents. You will be provided with software that automatically converts audio and video files into text. Your main job will be to listen to the audio files while reading through the automatically transcribed document to correct transcription errors made by the software. The software will speed up your transcription rate but the final document will come out with errors. You will then listen to the audio or video file and correct errors manually by listening and typing simultaneously.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. No experience or academic qualification necessary.
2. A good command of the English language is a must.
3. You must have an ear for American/British accents.
4. You must possess excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills.
5. You must possess meticulous attention to detail.
6. You must have a laptop/PC or Mac to use transcription software.
7. You must have a good internet connection.
8. You must be ready to download telegram app for desktop for official correspondence.
9. You must have experience using Microsoft Word.
10. You must know how to download and upload files via email.
11. You must be available online within office hours (8am – 4pm).
12. You must be able to meet submission deadlines.
13. You must be ready to pass our transcription screening test.

SALARY

Remuneration is between 70k and 200k per month for general transcribers. Individuals with medical or legal backgrounds are considered specialized transcribers. Specialized transcribers who are able to transcribe medical and law related audiovisuals earn a minimum of 100k/month.
Spanish, German and French transcribers are also considered highly rated transcribers and earn 150k/month on the minimum.

HOW TO APPLY

Application is by CV or Resume submission through email. No certificate submission is required. Individuals with legal or medical backgrounds should indicate in their CVs or Resumes. Medical backgrounds in Anatomy, Physiology, physiotherapy, Nursing, Pharmacy- all medicine-related courses are all welcome. If you have proficiency in Spanish, French or German Languages, please also indicate in your CV. After application, you will receive an audio or video file to transcribe as a way of testing your capabilities. Considering our massive hiring needs, everyone who passes the tests will be contacted for immediate employment.
Interested applicants should drop their emails. Instructions to proceed to application will be sent to the email address provided.

$0.20 for most clients at a rating of 5.
So, give or take $20 for every 100 minutes.

How can the leader's board have 682.0, 551.3, 506.6 minutes of transcribed calls (4th to 10th) when there is barely any call to transcribe? Are the calls accessible to only a select few? I just recently joined. Abi na only midnight things? What's going on?

You're on bronze badge. So, you have access to a lot less calls until the queue is overruning.

Do you remember months ago when we had this same argument on here? How calls were very scarce, yet Ralph was leading the park with over 800 minutes? grin

The leader board is last week's transcription. Not the current week.
