helinues:does state governors control the army or any of the security agencies? We saw the example of the forest guards established by the Benue government, the army and the police didn't give them the free hand to operate. The day you allow state police, then you can put the blame on the state governors, for now the security of the lives and properties of the citizens of the country rest solely in the hands of the FG. 5 Likes |

adadike: Adadike, when will you show as much passion and interest in your igbo/SE regional issues the way you are always doing about Yoruba-related matters? Your obsession with connecting everything to Tinubu is very unhealthy, to say the least. A Catholic priest was murdered at Enugu very recently. A whole former Ambassador was also kidnapped from inside his own home at Enugu by Fulani herdsmen, yet you haven't said kpim (there's even a thread about it at the politics section which I am sure you've come across but shame no gree you to comment, yet you are on first page here commenting, where's your shame??). Some days ago it was also reported that an igbo labourer was almost hacked to death by herdsmen at Awka, Anambra. You are yet to hold Obiano, Ohanaeze, OUK, Peter Obi, Ugwuanyi and other igbo politicians to account for these incidences. Or is Tinubu the reason your own igbo elders are afraid too? Is Tinubu the cause of your problems in life. Woman, your likes need to get a life. 13 Likes 1 Share |

What is important in country is how far one's country can protect one, that one is happy with one's country; not how rich ones country is, not how big ones country is. Fulani-led far north started to divide Nigeria when twelve northern states adopted unconstitutional Islamic Sharia Criminal justice system. That's was beginning 1999 when Obasanjo the "unbeliever" became Nigeria's president. Boko Haram emerged later and says it's fighting for a country to be governed with Islamic Sharia Criminal justice system. Strange armed Herdsmen followed. Herdsmen have been in Nigeria for centuries, carrying only daggers. We don't have to fight to divide dysfunctional Nigeria. Once the southern regions secede from Nigeria, Fulani-led far north can't contemplate any fight to bring one Nigeria back. Britain can't even come into it again. 4 Likes

ACHILLES45: Smh. Here you go again with your foolish chest-beating. A Catholic priest was recently murdered in cold blood at Enugu. A former ambassador was also kidnapped from his own house also at Enugu by Fulani herdsmen very recently (https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/08/i-saw-hell-in-hands-of-herdsmen-says-ayogu/). At Awka in Anambra, an Igbo labourer was also almost hacked to death just a few days ago by herdsmen. Another Igbo man (Eze Chikamnayo) barely escaped with his life after being attacked on the Enugu-Portharcourt expressway by herdsmen just last week ( https://www.nairaland.com/5341673/fulani-herdsmen-attack-eze-chikamnayo ). Absolutely nothing has been done about these incidences that occurred in your SE region; upon all your chest-beating. Yet, you are here feeling sorry for Yoruba people. Are you sure you are ok? 5 Likes |

Seems the Yorubas have a standing army to repel the first major attack from the Fulani. We are playing with fire in Nigeria. I am prepared to pick up arms against the Fulani herdsmen in an all out war and I'm sure several others are also prepared in the case of war. We only hope there won't be need for it. But with Buhari at the helm of affairs, I wouldn't bet on it. 2 Likes |
